Hotel Del Mare

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the downtown area in Sorrento. The walk is completely safe. The benefits of this hotel is that it is a 2 minute walk to the water and wonderful waterfront restaurants.

The hotel was more traditional italian.. painted tiles, basic room. Was completely clean. No extra amenities, but perfect for the price. The male front desk was not very friendly, the two ladies were.

rooftop lounge and views are amazing, breakfast was lovely, staff so wonderful and helpful. close walk to the beach/marina, and it just far enough away from the tourist parts of the city.

Close to the beach. A little bit of a hike to the city center and train station but not a problem. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. I'm an English speaker so they were a great resource. Breakfast was really good.

The rooftop area was clean and comfortable, the breakfast had a nice selection of pastries and the coffee was good.

Well we paid a heck of a lot for what turned out to be a room in a basement. We heard water rushing down the pipes constantly. The apartments next door had the TV on at all hours and really loud. No WIFI in rooms. Don't waste your money.

No views of the sea from any room.

The marina district is very close and has some nice restaurants in it

The breakfast was fabulous!! You couldn’t have asked for anything more. The staff was great and always helped us with getting a taxis and anything else we needed. The location was great and only one block from wonderful fresh seafood restaurants!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The property was clean, very close to the beach, and only a 15 minute walk to the center of town.

The property is at a very good location, right next to beach and there are many restaurants nearby. The staff is polite and friendly too.

The room is too small, so small that it did not have enough space for a 25kg capacity trolley to open. It was very very suffocating.

The breakfast was fine. Very good Italian pastries and coffee was all we were looking for, so it was great.

Bathroom, especially the shower, like many other hotels in Italy, was very small.

The hotel is clean, with great and helpful staff. The location is amazing, gorgeous views, away from crowds and by many great restaurants.

All night loud talking, walking up and down hallways, slamming of the doors - there is zero noise barrier between the rooms and the stairwell, and hallway. It was very hard to sleep.

It was nice that we were so close to restaurants and the sea.

The room was small however hotels in Europe are smaller than in the USA so that was to be expected

Good location. Clean. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. The top floor has a nice area to hang out with a beautiful view.

No restaurant but it does have an open bar.

Clean rooms and amazing breakfast ladies. Lots of fresh fruit selection. Housekeeping with 2 bottles of water daily.
