Location, clean and the staff

The VIEW! The breakfast made me want to cry it was so wonderful! The staff was amazing and SO accommodating.?I just can?t say enough good things about this place.

The pool wasn?t heated? But that?s being VERY picky.

When we booked the hotel stated it was much closer to town & sounded like they had their own private shuttle instead of the big bus & schedule we didn’t like that at all especially since we always stayed in town & the drivers just dropped you off in the dark across from hotel in the gully very dangerous

Very comfortable bed. Free parking during stay. Restaurant high quality and breakfast excellent with many unique choices. There is a shuttle into town but we did not take. Bathroom nice and spacious. Staff friendly. Great view.

Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The view from the rooms and restaurant - and balconies was amazing. The courtesy bus into Sorrento was easy to get. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would love to stay again sometime.

It is a nice hotel in a great location, and the included breakfast is good (served with a good view too!) The shuttle bus is very helpful, because otherwise it is tricky/expensive to get there from the station.

It was a pity that the pool and jacuzzi were not available in October, even though it was still warm summer weather. It is a bit far from the centre of Sorrento, but the shuttle bus is available, and day trips pick up from the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel run by a very competent and hard-working staff who strive for the best possible stay for all guests. They even took care of booking us a car from the Naples train station and a taxi to the Sorrento train station on the day we departed. The complimentary breakfast is excellent with many delicious choices and includes freshly squeezed orange juice. We selected a room with a view and had an gorgeous view of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, and nearby towns. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the restaurant offered many delectable choices, including a full bar and wine, and very reasonable prices. We stayed six nights and it was a perfect spot for exploring a beautiful and fascinating part of Italy.

Since we did not have a car, we relied on the shuttle, which worked quite well, but required a bit more planning on our part to make connections to trains. The shuttle goes once an hour, but there is a break of a few hours in the middle of the day, so we had to plan around that as well. It also meant that we did not go down to Sorrento for dinner, as we were often tired from our day and so just ate in the restaurant at Il Nido. On the whole, though, the trade-off was worth it for a stay at such a well-run and enjoyable hotel.

ll Nido was in a perfect location…..a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento and just a short shuttle ride away!! The view was absolutely breathtaking!! This family owned property was perfect for us. Food in the restaurant was so good, bar drinks were very affordable and the staff couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating!We would definitely recommend

View of the sea from our room as well as the dining area/terrace. Free shuttle into town was awesome. Free breakfast every morning was delicious and very convenient.

Pool area could have used some “freshening up” but we never had an opportunity to use it so not a problem.

Dino, his sister and the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The hotel was always kept clean, food at the restaurant was exceptional. I was there for my birthday and the day of my birthday. There was a a nice gift hanging on my door, which was such a nice surprise. The complementary shuttle from the hotel to their downtown area was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff is friendly and goes out of its way to make you feel comfortable. Excellent food with the ability to eat outside overlooking Sorrento. Magical!

Maybe a different music loop in the lobby/dining area. The same songs repeated a lot. Perhaps some classical?
