The location and staff were wonderful! Bartender and manager were so helpful and kind.

The staff at the hotel was very helpful and exceptional. We enjoyed the entertainment provided one night. Breakfast was very good.

The views were incredible, and we really enjoyed the staff as they were very kind and attentive.

They will be doing upcoming renovations to the property. I am looking forward to that as It is a bit dated in the rooms, but you cannot beat the views. I did not like the fact that they did not want you to take any food to the room, but if they delivered it to your room. As in room service. That was fine with me them My husband and I Love, the bread ,pastries and coffee in Italy. One of the main things. We love about Italy on top of the architecture. So the coffee here was not good. We found ourselves Just leaving the hotel to go get decent coffee. We stayed at a bed and breakfast. A couple days before this. Also in the same City , and they had the most wonderful.Lavzza automatic espresso, cappuccino maker. The coffee was amazing, and we were not charged for it. I even joked with my husband that I would love to go back to the bed and breakfast. Just for the coffee. This is not a four-star Hotel, and even after renovations. I’m not sure if it will be, but I am definitely curious to see how it turns out after they’ve done the renovations. I noticed that they cleaned often and the staff stay busy. One thing they could work on is having somebody passed through the stairwell hourly. If not every two hours. Just to remove any bottles or food product that someone just set in the hallway, they shouldn’t leave bottles, empty bottles, and things out. If Staff member walks by that they should just pick all of it up and throw it away. I really did not like passing by seeing it there. It just looked grossIf I ever go back to Sorrento, I’m definitely gonna go by there. I would love to see this place after the renovations. It has a lot of potential, and the views are amazing. !

I like the live music on Saturday and there was a wedding happening that weekend that we were able to see fireworks from the hotel

The bedroom wasn't clean the floor had hair and the extra blanket I asked for becuase I wad cold was dirty it has hair as well so I didn't even end up using it because I was disgusted

There was noise: sounds from downstairs, sounds from our neighbours, and sounds from laundry.

Very basic room, TV didn’t work, a/c was either on or off without ability to adjust.

Was hard to sleep with the constant housekeeping noise and there was trash in the hallways. Our room didn’t seem like it had been properly cleaned before we arrived, there were clothing stickers and other random trash we found.

Amazing view and perfect location. The reception area is very modern and welcoming, but the rooms feel a bit outdated and don’t quite match the style of the lobby. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good and decent.

The bedroom was very, very small and very outdated. The rooms do not match the feel that you get from the lobby.

Good breakfast and coffee. Good location on the sea.

We had a reservation which said outdoor furniture- no balcony. Said bidet- no bidet. Air conditioning only on/off. Had a fan which staff took away our last evening without telling us.

The location on the water and near the marina was beautiful. The view from our room was gorgeous.

There were loads of ants in our room. We asked for another room and there were none available. They sent room service to clean it but the ants returned within hours. All over the floor near our beds, the bathroom, everywhere. The pool is literally in the middle of the restaurant. Unless you like to be the center of attention while everyone is dining, don’t plan for a swim.The road to the hotel is a pedestrian area, not too far of a walk, but it is cobblestone so be aware if you’re pulling luggage.

We loved Hotel Admiral, from the staff to our room and view, the pool, the breakfast and so much more. A great place to stay.

Absolute stunning view and charming location right in Sorrento’s fishing village. Loved all the restaurants near the hotel. Needed 2 rooms and would have loved a suite to fit everyone together or at least rooms next to each other. We were separated. Fantastic hotel.

The location of the hotel is in a lovely spot. Around a 15 minute up hill walk into the centre of Sorrento which was fine for ourselves as a young couple.

The reviews sold me our stay however after staying here ourselves, we cannot understand how the hotel receives as many positive reviews. Our room was unclean and unkept with a clear sign that the rooms are not maintained in between seasons. We stayed in room 210. The stairs and hallways were very unclean and dated. Our bathroom door frame had a huge chunk missing out of it and was down to the bare timber. The bathroom itself had mould growing on the walls and the shower cubicle was thick of mould, dirt and leaked. There was no storage in the bathroom. Very dated and dirty. The main bedroom was not maintained with marks all over the walls, the furniture was old and very worn. We had noticed that the room was not cleaned properly everyday with the same hair and dust remaining in the same spot all week. The breakfast was terrible. Omelettes are made behind the bar area which my husband could not eat as it tasted so bad. The ‘fresh’ fruit was all brown and inedible. The containers containing the hot food appeared to have been stood for really long periods and were just sweating in the containers. Breakfast area and dinnerware were unclean and stained. The swimming pool comes in towards the breakfast area and the pool attendant would clean the swimming pool whilst we were eating which is not hygienic or what you want to be watching whilst eating breakfast.In our opinion this is a two star hotel at best and would not recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento. I did ask the receptionist if we could move to a better room but was advised that they were fully booked couldn’t be moved. A lot of money for a very poor hotel stay.

The location and being on the water was nice.

When you walk in, the first floor looks updated and nice, but the rooms are horrible and old. They updated only the common areas and thats its. Basically what they have in their pictures. It’s a really old hotel and needs a lot more updating if they want to be better than just so-so. Its overpriced and not worth the money for what you get.

Love the location & the pool

The hotel lobby has been beautifully renovated, but unfortunately the rooms tell a very different story. They were outdated and uncomfortable—the AC rattled loudly all night, the bathroom was in disrepair, and the bed was far from comfortable.To make matters worse, on our last day, the woman at the front desk was incredibly unhelpful when we asked for assistance booking a taxi to the airport. She insisted it was impossible and claimed it would cost 300 euros. We ended up finding several options ourselves for nearly half that price (130–150 euros). Her dismissive attitude made us feel like a burden for even asking, which was especially disappointing given how warm and helpful people had been throughout the rest of our trip in Italy.
