Ara Maris Hotel & Spa

The balcony view was great. Received free Prosecco drink upon arrival. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bar by the pool was nice, with lemon and orange trees around the pool.

Hotel was in the Heart of the town and everything was walking distance.

Hotel did not have any parking facilities and the parking garage was 24 Euros per night. No in/out.

The shower is a small square and gets the whole bathroom floor wet. There is also no leg room for the toilet.

This hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, always making sure I felt comfortable and cared for. The views from the hotel are simply unforgettable—whether you're enjoying a quiet morning or winding down in the evening, it’s the kind of scenery that stays with you. The breakfast was another standout—delicious, varied, and clearly made with quality in mind. And the city itself? Hands down my favorite stop on the trip. The atmosphere, the charm, the energy—everything about it made me want to stay longer. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Brand new hotel with stunning spa facilities, unbeatable central location, and top-tier service. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast had a fantastic buffet selection. Highly recommend for a luxury stay in Sorrento.

Have had the pleasure at staying at some of the world's finest hotels and Ara Maris is on par with them. Ara Maris' ' staff is perfectly professional and attentive, it's amenities are luxurious and plentiful, and the decor is serene and calming. It is a modern hotel with sophisticated class. We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The pictures don’t do it justice. We ate a yummy breakfast by the pool under the orange and lemon trees. It was so serene and peaceful. Room was big and we even got a free water bottle. It was close to everything and the staff was super helpful and knowledgeable.

Being Americans, we would have preferred coffee in the room. But that's not a complaint, just an observation.

The hotel was very new. Room was clean and a comfortable size. The free spa (steam room, sauna and jacuzzi) was excellent, very clean and quiet. The hotel was well located in Sorrento. Breakfast had a good selection of food.

Windows were not completely sound proof. Could hear noise outside but the noise always died down by bed time so I wasn’t impacted.

Overall an excellent facility with beautiful attention to detail. Staff is outstanding. First class facility. Dinner our first night was truly exceptional, one of the best we have had in our 2 weeks of traveling and fine dining in Italy. Second evening, dinner was a disappointment, as the head chef was not working and my food was inedible, and my partners mediocre. However I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it for a first class stay and world class service.

Absolutely everything we spent two days in absolute relaxation , the hotel is in a perfect location a few meters from the main square. Very convenient valet parking service. Excellent breakfast one of the best ever, all the staff is very professional and kind welcoming As well as the Bistro on the fifth floor with a breathtaking view of the entire gulf. We will definitely return

very bad service of front desk & concierge, we booked a private cab to pick us up in the airport. hotel charged us EUR440 in total for just abt 1 hr drive, charged for unreasonable high waiting fee (sth around 200) for our flight delay (due to airline), although we've informed them the delay a few hours in advance, when they even hvn't sorted out the detailed driver yet. and lots of ants in the room.. after staff clean still there

Among best hotels we ever stayed so far. Perfect location, very spacious rooms, well equipped, bed very comfortable, nice view (we had a garden view). Roof top restaurant offers a great view. Great breakfast, very friendly staff. Would return anytime with pleasure.
