In a green area, Hotel Metropole is a 20 minute walk from Corso Italia, Sorrento’s main street. It features panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples, a restaurant, and an outdoor swimming pool. All the air-conditioned rooms include a balcony or a patio. They are decorated in a simple Mediterranean style and include a private bathroom, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel’s traditional restaurant offers classic Italian dishes, which are served on the sunny terrace during lunch time. Every morning, the hotel prepares a continental breakfast buffet. Guests can relax at the swimming pool and its surrounding garden. This area provides lounge chairs, tables, and chairs. Buses to the center of town stop in front of the hotel every 20 minutes. Guests can take boats to Capri at the city’s port. The ruins of Pompei are only 19 miles away.

Pros +
- Staff was great. We didn't get to eat lunch or dinner (busy schedule), but breakfast was nice and simple, alot of sweet treats.
- Overall this is a great hotel. Would stay there again.
Cons -
- The location was good, just that piece of the road that don't have a sidewalk gets a little rough at night with the curves and crossing the street to get to the hotel, but always felt safe.
- Restaurant staff was the worst. Thankfully we found one of Sorrento's best restaurants next door for dinner.
