Umaid Residency - A Regal Heritage Home

Hotel was excellent and clean. Food was delicious. We had a yummy dinner and breakfast there ans ate Rajasthani food. Staff was friendly and great. The parking was great as well.

The location was suitable for me as I needed to stay one night prior to my stay at Le Meridien.. The breakfast was also good.The decor of the hotel and of the rooms is nice - old Rajasthani style.

The hotel intentionally reported to BOOKING.COM that the credit card used by me to secure the booking was not working, that too for 3 different cards, which are till date, absolutely functional. I kept on receiving emails from you that the hotel wasn't able to process my payment- please provide a different card.When I called them up, they said that it being wedding season, they cannot risk loosing any booking and thus made me pay online, much before the date of cancellation deadline given by you.Also, the bathroom in the rooms is so small that one cannot close the door if one is seated on the pot.

Clean and spacious room, very well kept

The only thing i don't like is the location, it's behind the umaid haveli and the google maps location ends at umaid haveli you will have to go somewhere else

The location. It’s away from the hustle of the main Jaipur city.

I different staff. They don’t care at what time they wake up their guests to move their parked cars so that their own construction vehicles can come in the same spot. I was woken up early morning by them for this. Was quite shocking really when I found out that I was being asked to move my car that early for construction. And this is after one of their own helped me park the night before.

The hotel is clean and looks like it has been recently renovated. It boasts of opulent decor and elegant furniture. The rooms are very well designed and have all the modern amenities one can expect from a top notch hotel. Overall the experience was good, but could've been better if they had access to more open space.

I wish they had given me access to the beautiful lawns located a stone's throw away in their twin property, the Umaid Haveli. It would have made a huge difference, since otherwise this property is a rather small building with barely any common area and space. It just has a ground and basement area which is open to all and the rest of the hotel is just narrow corridors with rooms. Their Haveli property which is 50 mtrs away meanwhile has a lot of common areas and open spaces. It's surprising the two properties are not physically linked to each other.

Shower was not working properly and linens are very old. Especially bed cover and towels, rest all perfect.

It's location and feeling

No third bed provided and a sofa was there which was totally uncomfortable and guest couldn't sleep also had booked with breakfast but they charged for the same

Worst hotel experience

Dirty beds, as if someone had peeing on it. Worst staff, 30 mins to check in, 30 mins to get bags in room, 30 mins to get bedsheets changed, wasted 1.5 hrs after checking in to hotel at 1AM. Staff is very rude.

As I was traveling from Manali, wanted a location outside of the city and this place was perfect. Family suite was very cozy and comfortable after such a tiring journey. Breakfast was also good.

The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were really nice.

The the noise fact you can hear everything inthe room especially when sleeping. There were a few times where I had to either called receptionist to ask guest to keep it down or ask other guest to keep there phone down or tqkk quietly. Because of the noise its hard to get a good sleep esp when travelling for work.

The location is next to the highway. Very comfortable and clean rooms, ample parking. We had a big diwan which meant we did not required additional cot for my elder kid. Overall the stay was very comfortable.

The food quality and the service. The hotel seems to be understaffed in the restaurant as there was huge confusion during breakfast. Also, they need to focus on improving the quality of the food.

Location

Nothing was likeable, no drinking water in room, leaking jet spray, torn curtains and worse of all, we were denied to be served drinking water at breakfast table and the waiter asked us to help ourself with the drinking water.

Beautiful property…clean and the area was peaceful

The hotel is outside Jaipur City Centre so the traffic isnt there(Jaipur traffic is crazy) so that's a plus, however there aren't a lot of options in the vicinity. The rooms are decent. They do have air conditioner as well as heated water so that's a plus. They have limited parking inside the premises, however you can park outside the premises. The breakfast spread is decent. Pricing could be a bit more friendly(Rs 450 per person) is a bit steep with limited offerings.

The only con is instead of 1 ltr per person per day bottled water, we get only 500 ml per person per day.
