    Pros +

    • It was a lovely property and the breakfast was very good. Good stop heading from Rome to Puglia.
    • The room was big enough and had plenty of space to stretch out and relax, but the chair was broken and basically not usable.
    • Very well-designed … a beautiful respite in a questionable area. Convenient to travelers in need of flying out of Naples airport if coming from Puglia region. Beautiful & comfy room with many amenities, nice bed linens and. Indy mattress. Bar & restaurant (downstairs) were sophisticated with an upscale vibe. Staff very pleasant, friendly and accommodating! Felt very safe on the property despite the surrounding area.

    Cons -

    • The room needed a little more attention to detail and it would be perfect. New bedding etc.
    • The pool was off limits for us for some reason that no one could seem to explain other than "reserved for wedding guests". There was one light in the bathroom, above the door only, no mirror lighting or anything. After the festival my wife and I decided to leave Villa Minieri early and go to Naples for a few days.
    • This is a hotel to avoid. The rooms are dark and dreary and in need of renovation. The location is poor and the staff disinterested. You are charged to use the pool and you can not use the outdoor pool. There are better places to stay.

The receptionist was super excellent. Checked us in flawlessly, complimentary coffee. All done with a smile and friendliness. The grpunds

Dinner in the restaurant was rushed.

Spas not included which we didn't realise. Breakfast has nice choices.

No bar available in the evening

    7AistePosted on: 9-14-2024

Hotel hosts a lot of events throughout the night with loud music, fireworks and a lot of people, so getting a good night sleep is not possible

Staff were friendly, breakfast was nice

Clear instructions for check-in after reception had closed, reasonably priced restaurant and comfortable rooms.

There’s an outdoor pool on site that you’re not allowed to use!

Beautiful retreat style - large outdoor pool in scenic setting with bar- very comfortable room size & bed- air conditioning was perfect for hot July

Never again. The place doesn't value the money. The stuff is really nice, but nothing worked... water and Wi-Fi (in 2023) ?‍♀️ .They charged us €50 for staying 2 hours longer in the room.Unbelievable.

Good location, big area with lots of greenery.

But! It was totally not taken care of the area, the buildings, nor the inventory. Scratches, damages everywhere. Roof top was dirty from a party which was a few days ago and still not cleaned. Light's were not working. Roomservice with complete towel change every day! That is not convenient.

    10LenorePosted on: 10-14-2023

Very clean overall, but especially the spa. All excellent. Surpassed only by the superb front desk staff and waiter staff.

Not enough hangers in closet, no real drawers for storing clothes.

The suite had a decent size with a huge terrace.

The suite had a sauna, a jacuzzi and two showers inside. The sauna was useable but not all functionalites worked and in the jacuzzi not all jets were on. The terrace was rather dirty, also the chairs in the suite, not to mention the back of the bed. Further it was not possible to have a warm shower inside, also the shower was falling apart in the bathroom. Luckily we managed to shower on the terrace with warm water.

Very nice staff, beautiful garden and spacious room. The whole Hotel was very humid though.

    8EbruPosted on: 9-27-2023

Clean & spacious rooms, has a good garden view.

We had to wait 30 minutes after the checkin time since room was not ready yet when we came.

Breakfast was good. Immaculately clean all over the hotel. Dinner was really good with fantastic service from Luciano. The grounds were beautifully kept and very pleasant to look at walk around.

There wasn’t anywhere to relax and have a drink, there was no bar to sit at, or even have coffee, of course you could ask the receptionist for a drink or coffee. The roof top bar was only open Friday to Sunday opening late and finishing late. The hotel caters more for events and hotel guests are secondary. There was a beautiful swimming pool there which we were unable to use, except on our last day which had the use of for a few hours..

The hotel was on lovely grounds nice comfortable spacious rooms and a good breakfast The restaurant is very nice also we went for our anniversary meal and we was looked after which was much appreciated

I know we were in Italy but because the hotel is a little further out of the commercial side of things nobody spoke much English which was a bit of a barrier but we managed There is a swimming pool but I believe it’s more of focal point than actual swimming pool as this area was always being used for private events

    9CaseyPosted on: 8-19-2023

Nice hotel with beautiful gardens. The restaurant is excellent. Enjoyed the use of the gym. Breakfast was great.Good for 1 night stay.

Not allowed to use the pool. No bar or room service facilities. The place was like a ghost town in August.
