Camarote Hotel

It was clean. It was nice. The location was great and Sara at reception made me feel very welcome. The breakfast was amazing!

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. Check in was quick. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I liked the modern feel to everything. The shower was great! I appreciate all the extra touches!! I would stay here again if I was in Leon!!

Everything from the pleasant staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, the ‘can do attitude’ of everyone from the cleaning staff to the front desk and the 2nd floor bar.

The rooftop bar was supposed to be a star attraction but the attitude of the staff there was terrible. It seems they were interested only in those people that were in groups and drinking a lot than a solo person!

Very nice luxury hotel.

Loud street noise and drunk people late at night due to proximity of bars.

Excellent location, beautiful room, friendly and helpful staff

The person spoke English which is very helpful. Very friendly and professional. Because I needed to extend my stay I had to change rooms for the last night. I appreciated not having to move hotels. The view of the Cathedral from the rooftop bar is unbeatable!

The person at reception did not know that my bag had been delivered by JacoTrans and was already in my room when I checked in. So I had a few minutes of panic until I saw my bag in my room. I could not operate my thermostat so I was happy to open the window. However, then I couldn’t sleep because of the noise in the streets. I asked a housekeeping person for an extra towel and he was very willing and friendly. However, the towel was ripped and had a black stain on it that smeared to other parts of the towel. I would not recommend a room on floor 2 because there is a noticeable difference in street noise. Floor 2 is also where reception is and those conversations were easily heard in my room.

Nice modern decor. Comfortable beds and bathroom. SUPER nice front desk staff We didn’t realize until we were checking out that this hotel had a FABULOUS rooftop bar and restaurant. Don’t miss that one !

Food was very good, but expensive for what was offered. I have a big budget, but still thought it was overpriced. Tight bathroom.

The hotel's location was excellent. The rooftop restaurant has a magnificent view of the cathedral. My room was on the third floor, and I could see the roofs of the houses. All the major places and the cathedral are very close.

I wish they had a coffee house for morning coffee. Usually, there are cafes under the hotel, but I walked a block to have coffee in the morning.

The appartement’s design was modern and comfortable, we really enjoyed our time there. The hotel also has a great location, the Cathedral is right around the corner.

this is a very nice hotel, close to the cathedral & on the Camino. Room was very nice, bed was extremely comfortable. There was a rain shower & bathrobe provided. Breakfast was expensive but you were given alot of food & choices. It getting to be chilly at night no & heat was on.

The hotel was small but beautifully cared for with very modern amenities. The front desk staff were so accommodating and helpful. The hotel location is ideal being in the old town and very near the cathedral. If you are going to be a Camino participant you are right on the route

I arrived early and they were very accommodating.And the breakfast was surprisingly good - I was expecting a buffet but they set up a huge array of different items on my table.

I loved this hotel and Leon. My room was on the 4th floor, so right under the rooftop bar, which made for some late night noise, but nothing I wasn't able to sleep through! My room was comfortable and I booked an extra day and got some work done in the middle of my Camino. The bar on the 5th floor has a GREAT view of the cathedral and serves great food too - don't miss out! And see my pictures below for what you're in for if you elect to have their breakfast. Finally, Sara and Estela?, the front desk ladies were friendly and helpful - much appreciated!

It was very loud outside,perhaps better window insulation?

The property was clean and nicely decorated, reception staff courteous and helpful.

It was so noisy until about 3-4am.Tea bags provided but no kettle.
