Great location excellent staff good value

The location is excellent and in the historic district. It is in a pedestrian district with limited car traffic. The parking was three blocks away, which made it less convenient for unloading the baggage. The A/C was broken, so that wasn't so great on arrival, but the nights are cool so we slept comfortably.

The staff is excellent and responsive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, quiet, and clean. We asked for a small kettle and were given one. The location is fabulous right in the heart of the old town.. We would happily stay there again.

The only change I would suggest is brighter lighting in the room for reading at night.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The recommended parking was also a nightmare to find, and a fair distance from the hotel!

Centrally located off main street in Leon old town Closed at 3pm in the afternoon and access after that by door code.Breakfast was fine. This hotel is rather dated.

Hot water was set to only trickle and the cold water to come out as a blast. For the price of my stay I should have been able to have a hot shower! Room was very small.

Great location in the old city, easy walking distance to the cathedral and other attractions.

Parking was more complicated than we expected (we followed the recommendation from the property) but it ended up working out fine.Other than a mini fridge, there were absolutely no amenities in the room. The bathroom had two paper cups, there was no complimentary bottled water (something we’ve found to be standard in every other hotel or guesthouse we’ve stayed in so far), and the shampoo in the shower dispenser was so watered down you couldn’t get it to lather up. Breakfast had only one hot option and few choices for bread, meat, cheese, etc. On our last morning the kitchen still wasn’t open at 9:00 and there was no staff at the desk, forcing us to drop our keys on the counter and leave without breakfast.

Large comfortable room, walking distance to bus/ train stations, good breakfast. Liked the antique furniture.

Isaac on the desk was delightful and also oversaw breakfast. The hotel is in a great location close to Plaza San Marcos where there are great tapas bars. The stones with fossils in the walls of the hotel are very interesting

Room was clean, comfortable bed, good location. Staff was very nice and spoke excellent English. I love the antique fixtures.

Comfortable setup, arrived inside check-in hours so it was very easy. Lovely bathroom.

A fire alarm went off twice, the first time for 10 minutes as I was getting ready for bed. No announcements, so grabbed everything and prepared to evacuate. Called front desk as was leaving room and was told it was a false alarm. Ok. 90 minutes later, another alarm. This time, kept going for 30+ minutes and there were no hotel employees on site. Was there a fire? Gas leak? There was no police or fire response. To make matters worse, I was locked in due to a complicated front door lock (see picture.) Finally, a hotel employee showed up and, after great difficulty, shut off the alarm. She explained that the alarm company had been called, but there was no assurance that they were coming. In other words, this could happen again throughout the night. Despite the late hour, I had no choice but to find another hotel for the night.
