    • The ability to be in an historic building and have access to viewing the building in it's entirety.
    • Extraordinary revision of convent. Very stylish. great staff. wonderful pictures. The historical account of the Francoist concentration camp during the guerra civil was stark and sobering.
    • Breakfast was excellent and the bar menus was great as well. The dining room doesn’t open until 9pm- a bit late for weary Pilgrims walking the Camino.

Stunning historic hotel with modern facilities ; amazing breakfast-best in all of Spain!

Would’ve liked an iron in the room and robes

Fabulous old building and modern gorgeous room. Very good food at reasonable prices. Attentive helpful staff. Restored our faith in Paradores.

Amazing place with spacious and comfortable rooms.

Breakfast was good buy not on the same level of the hotel rooms and the hotel per se.

Amazing property. Beautiful, modern rooms. The old convent has been carefully integrated into the hotel and and it's a pleasure to just sit or walk around in the historic areas of the hotel.

Everything, the museum, the room, the staff

The room was fabulous and felt amazing after multiple weeks on the Camino. While i normally start to walk earlier, I hung out for the 7:30 breakfast, which was amazing. This is a luxury property, and it lives up to the adjective.

I liked everything. Of course, it is very expensive, but it may be worth it if visiting León. It is directly on the Camino.

Absolutely beautiful place. Great position, excellent breakfast, ample parking, good restaurant.

Trying to find driving access to front door , looks like pedestrian access only...?‍♂️

I liked all the details. The moderne style combined with the old building.

We had dinner in the terrace and eat a smoked salmon salad and had a terrible night, vomiting all night.

Wonderful stay in central León. Very comfortable stay with excellent staff. Nice walking distance to everything. Breakfast was very diverse and wonderful. Wish we stayed longer.

Lovely, comfortable rooms with large baths. Good breakfast. Location convenient to sites and train.

Great sized Jr. suites. Huge full suite. Very comfortable bed. Large walk in shower.

Don’t let them put you in Jr. suite 402. It’s up a long flight of stairs and the ac doesn’t work. We are in our 70’s and had several heavy luggage pieces. No valet service, no help with luggage. Exhausted when we finally got it all up there and then no ac. They did graciously move us to a full sized suite for that night as they were otherwise fully booked. Then another jr. suite our second night. The parador facade is gorgeous but overall it seemed rather cold/sterile to us. Ate in the dining room our first night. Food just OK. Could have gotten much better at a more reasonable price elsewhere. Most of the staff were delightful but upon check out we weren’t asked about our stay or wished fair well. Nothing. Have had much better experiences at other truly remarkable paradors in other parts of Spain. Location is a fairly long 20 minute walk to the historic center.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in

The lights in the room did not work well and I had trouble turning the bathroom lights on and never managed to do it. Also difficult to turn all off at night. Frustrating

Good breakfast, friendly staff, good evening meal.

Not the easiest hotel to find as it was in the centre of the town.

Good breakfast with friendly catering staff

    Check-in procedure took some time

    7DuncanPosted on: 3-6-2025

Breakfast like the other 8 4**** paradores we stayed in during this 2 month visit to Spain. We expected more from a 5***** experience.

We upgraded to a Suite which had no bidet although the Booking.com site said the rooms do and this was a suite. The room was not very clean. Shower water did not drain away. We moved to a Junior Suite the next day for remainder 2 night stay. No apologies.
