- Exceptional Hotel!Great location on a little plaza on the edge of the walled Casco Viejo. Double glass doors from our room opened to a balcony overlooking the plaza. We were just minutes away from everything! Great restaurants and shopping are nearby, and the incredible Cathedral is about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel is small, so you get personal attention from the staff. They serve a good breakfast at a reasonable cost.
- Great location.
- Nice big room with a good view of the courtyard below.
Cons -
- We stayed three nights and found the bed was very uncomfortable because of the mattress. The WiFi didn’t work even after I mentioned it to the receptionist.
- It was a weekend and festival night, so it was very loud all through the night.
- Shower soap dispenser didn't work well.

Large comfortable air conditioned room 5 minutes walk from the cathedral.
Shower soap dispenser didn't work well.
Good location. Quiet and comfortable.
Terrible service mostly the cafeteria. When we arrived, the reception was busy and could not handle us so they put our passports in the safe. Unfortunately, there was no one reception and we we needed them before 8 AM and had to wait until 8 AM until someone was there. Also breakfast was not til 8am. We had fixed bus reservations and rushed in to grab an apple and banana to take with us for the train. But we were reprimanded — in front of everyone in the cafeteria - for taking these items out. The coffee maker wasn’t working at breakfast so we never got a cup of coffee either. The restaurant help was actually hostile. Do not go here if you have a tight schedule.
Quiet, central, and with the kind of charm you don’t find in chain hotels. The room was bright, spacious, and the bed felt like a small reward after the Camino miles. Bathroom was clean—could use a bit of updating, but it worked just fine. What really made the stay memorable was the staff. Warm, patient, and deeply considerate. Francisco, in particular, went out of his way to make me feel welcomed—like I was an old friend stopping by rather than just another guest. The hotel bar/café was a gem too. I sat there over a drink, chatting with locals as the day wound down. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t scream luxury but whispers hospitality, and that makes all the difference.
Great location, in the middle of the city center, although in a generally quite area. I stayed here New Year's eve and there were a few of noisy people walking by, but did not keep me awake for long. The check-in process was smooth, and staff really friendly at the reception. The room had a great view on the square.
The water in the shower was draining a bit slow.
Great location and the staff were awesome, even working on the 6 & 7 of January. Room was comfortable enough and I had a huge continental breakfast and all the coffee I could drink. I could have had eggs too, but I'd already had enough to power me through the day!
Very trivial stuff, had to report a minor maintenance issue in the room and could have used a little more lighting perhaps.
Clean, comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. Great location for exploring charming and historical Leon center. Friendly, helpful staff, and enjoyed morning coffee in the cafe/bar downstairs.
There was some early morning noise from the street square in front of the hotel due to holiday revelers and garbage pick up. Not the hotel’s fault, but windows would benefit from additional soundproofing. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise all great, see comments above.
Great location
Bar wasn’t great but plenty of good ones near by
Breakfast was OK - not brilliant
Fiddly coffee machine, limited choice.
Good location
Staff at the front desk were very unhelpful. There was no hot water and she was reluctant to do anything about it and kept saying she had checked a room and it had hot water. When I ask her to show me this room she reluctantly did and held her hand under the hot water tap and said’ see hot water’ it was in fact like warm so I knocked on another door and guess what no hot water. These were the lengths I had to go to to get her to call her boss and get it fixed. It was finally fixed that evening.
Breakfast was great. Lots of choices. As much as you like. But most of all, everyone who works at the hotel is marvellous. Helpful and friendly. Special mention for Melissa who was at reception when I arrived and who went above and beyond to ensure that I knew lots of great places to experience in Leon. Made such a huge difference. If I visit Leon again I will absolutely book to stay here again (hopefully in room 203).
Breakfast good value. Front desk very helpful.
Room refrigerator didn't work.
The place was clean and very comfortable. I had working AC! That's a plus!!!!
It was a bit far from the center of the town, and had to walk a bit to get everywhere.
Beautiful hotel 5 minutes from the Cathedral. Great breakfast. Very helpful staff.
My room was very clean and comfortable, receptionist welcoming, location very good and breakfast was delicious.
There was no hot water the second night I stayed. Distressing after a long day walking around Leon to have a cold shower.
The location, right in the middle of the barrio humedo.
Parking is quite far and difficult. Breakfast is really simple.
The staff was very helpful, they contacted us in advance to provide the checkin information. The room was comfortable and clean. The area indeed quite peaceful.
Location, food on site, air conditioning, friendly staff
