Pros +
- Spacious and comfortable room. Helpful host. Walking distance to the Royal Palace.
- The excellent location within walking distance of the train station, the Royal Palace of Caserta and the central shopping district. The rooms were clean The property was secure with the gate and they had a decent breakfast included. The staff was very helpful. They arranged for an early morning ride to the Naples airport no problem.
- I love that it had a pool! The costumer service was great and many of the workers spoke English.
Cons -
- The immediate neighborhood around the villa is a little gritty, but get over it , big picture the convenience of the location out weighs that, facilities were very nice. For a short 2 to 3 day trip to Caserta it’s fine.
- I can’t complain. I do wish I the time the pool and days the restaurant is open was more clear .
- MUSIC was very loud when parties were held until at the restaurant until mid night. We were very tired but could not sleep.... and one Restaurant staff - manager? was not friendly at all. I was very uncomfortable.

Pool was not ready when i checked in - Breakfast is good, and hotel STAFF are very friendly

Great position, walking distance from Reggia di Caserta main entrance gate, and great staff, really helpful and friendly. Also the restaurants is very good. :)
The rooms (and in general all the building) need some renovation; they're clean, but they've just seen better times. Also especially during weekends it can be quite loud because the rooms are the opposite of soundproofed. :(
Super friendly and helpful staff! Secure onsite parking, huge plus. Pizzeria/restaurant onsite was really convenient and had amazing pizzas(recommend reservations).
We didn’t rate higher due to small maintenance issues (peeling paint and toilet didn’t flush properly) and our room was right above the restaurant, so noise didn’t end until after midnight. We didn’t mind since it was a Friday night and we only stayed overnight, so it was expected.
Location was very good, close to centre and train station
Unfortunately I had a room directly above the entrance so it was very noisy as there was music until the early hours of the morning and people coming and going. However, the hotel is nice and I would definitely book it again, although I would make sure I get a room with a view of the beautiful garden.
Helpful staff with nice facilities for our needs.
When booking we wanted to have twin rooms not doubles. At booking this was impossible to ensure, which caused a lot of confusion and additional cost. Ultimately we had to ask a relation who lives near Caserta to call in and sort the mess out face to face which is very poor.
We stayed at the Villa Maria Cristina in Casserta as we wanted to visit Naples but did not want to leave an car with English plates there. Naples half an hour by train. Air con, comfy beds, room, pool, breakfast all great. My Americano coffee at breakfast was exceptional. Parking underground was secure. We were entertained by the pool by a robot grass mower which constantly roamed around. Very good fish restaurant 7 mins away, also Main Street was near which had more restaurants and shops. The palace is well worth a visit.
Not the hotels fault but Casserta is typical of many towns in the south by being a bit run down. That being said at no point did I feel uneasy about walking around. Underground parking was down a narrow curved slope. Felt I needed my partner at the top to make sure that no one was coming the other way!
Handy location. Walking distance to the Palace and restaurants. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly
Rooms are a bit dated
The staff was amazing, the room was spacious, the pool on nice and there is parking.
The parking is a bit uncomfortable.
1. Free parking at property can trolley all the way to the car from the elevator.2. Helpful staff.3. Good breakfast.
1. Parking can be a problem, hotel had party both nights, fortunately first night the manager was polite and helpful, moved his car for us so that we were abled to park, so second night they arranged a parking in front of the hotel.2. We only stayed 2 nights had to changed room twice on the first day due to poor maintenance. The 3 rooms we were in all have problems such as water leakage from the shower, clogged water drainage in the shower, kitchen cupboard hinges problems in 2 rooms, all balconies walls need painting in all rooms, the first room we went in there were ceiling repairs 3 cuts and one piece open not covered up, stiff tap water on washhand basin.Fortunately they have room to change if the hotel is full don’t know how are the customers going to put up with it when the maintenance guy doesn’t come until the next morning
Everything! The staff especially was extremely helpful in arranging transport from the hotel to my family's village 1 hour drive north of the hotel. The taxi driver even picked us up at around 11:30pm when we left my family's village to return back to the hotel (as arranged by the staff members). Truly a remarkable experience, and we will definitely be returning to this hotel for a longer stay (we were not here long enough to truly appreciate everything the hotel has to offer!)
Nothing! Everything was fantastic! 11/10

Extremely unprofessional and rude staff, especially towards women. Rooms are not as indicated in booking confirmation. Types of payment accepted are not as indicated in booking confirmation. Extremely disappointed with our stay here and would not classify this hotel as a four star.
The staff were very friendly. Centrally located. The rooms were spacious and clean
The location is a little rough near the train tracks
The pool was nice. Ten minute stroll to the palace which is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth a visit. We did an evening rooms tour one evening and the grounds only a different morning, we hired bikes and had hoped to spend the morning but because of the taxi situation (see below) we had literally an hour and 20 minutes.
The details on booking.com state there’s an airport transfer service which was why we booked this hotel rather than others. I made an enquiry before we arrived about costs / times and was told they do not offer a transfer service and I was given a taxi number. I was offered no other alternatives. I then found out (rome2rio.com) that an airport bus leaves from the palace hourly but we were travelling on a Sunday and there is not a regular service. We would have had to leave at 10.50 which was 2 hours earlier than needed. I asked if a taxi could be booked and was told it would be 11 o clock, I queried the journey time and was told 2 hours because of traffic. I was dubious but not knowing the area I didn’t really feel like we could take a risk. We could have got the bus for a fraction of the price. The hotel was unpleasantly warm, although the air con worked in our room it was behind a heavy curtain so no good during the night and just moving around the hotel was unpleasant. There is also no way to reach the pool other than walking through the car park or the restaurant. The pizzeria was closed when we were there, no alternative was offered I had to make enquiries. When I enquired about the restaurant I was only told when it was open and not offered a menu to help make a decision. All in all we enjoyed breakfast and the pool but felt like we were very much in downtown Caserta and that we were putting staff out. Yes visit the palace but find alternative accommodation
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, car parking, clean pool, fresh and well done breakfast, worth to try and see.
Location, the staff and the pool. The restaurant has the best food and the pizza is 10/10 which you can order and have in your room if you don’t feel like going to the restaurant. There are events in the restaurant downstairs like birthdays etc but it was never too loud or caused any issues.
You can’t bring guests over but that’s an Italy thing
Great location near the centro storico and the reggia . The kitchenette was also handy to have and the food in the restaurant was really good
Some small maintenance issues in bathroom needed attention
Pristine & convenient to gardens & train. Pool is perfect & quiet, essential on hot summer day. Breakfast is plentiful and high quality. Restaurant on site is very special. Staff is very helpful. An exceptional find, great value.
The nearby neighborhood with train tracks is not much to look at but has many high quality restaurants within 5 min walk!
