Pros +
- Staff was very nice, breakfast was good, location was also good. Price could be less, it's very costly if compared with the kind of hotel it was. Location was also great, very near to the station.
- Hotel was close to the train station and the royal palace. Breakfast was good..Room was clean and comfortable. Staff all were helpful. The lady at the front desk helped me a few times including helping me find a driver for an excursion I wanted to take to a town about 30 minutes north.
- very helpful staff, able to leave luggage before and after stay. Helped with restaurant recommendations
Cons -
- The price, and when you go out for lunch or dinner, they ask you to leave the keys at the reception and then when you come back you have to take it back from there. I came across such thing first time in my life. Hotel should have another key for every room so that they can use that one for cleaning the room. And when you charge this much, you should atleast put one hand wash in the washroom, some shower gel to take the shower. There was just one soap. I couldn't figure out that if I shoul use it as hand wash or to take the shower.
- I spent a cold, miserable night there. It had rained and my clothing was wet. Was looking forward to a warm shower and dry clothes, but the room never got even slightly warm. The air conditioner/wall room heater read that it was 24 deg C, but all it produced was cold air, and the radiator in the bathroom didn’t work.Breakfast room not at all pleasant.
- It is not easy to communicate in English. There are not many options at breakfast.

Unpleasant stay
I spent a cold, miserable night there. It had rained and my clothing was wet. Was looking forward to a warm shower and dry clothes, but the room never got even slightly warm. Value for money excellent. Old building, but comfortable. Continental breakfast. Limited car parking on site. Easy reach of train station.
Good price. Big room. Historic building in an old development.
It is not easy to communicate in English. There are not many options at breakfast.
Close to the centre, the train station and the Reggia palace.
Old-style hotel, all a bit tired, dark and depressing, extremely unfriendly staff, tiny shower, toilet difficult to flush, wi-fi hit and miss (mostly miss), very basic breakfast (you have to ask the guy behind the bar what you want and hope it's available). I don't recommend staying here if you have other options. I'm not a fussy traveller and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels but this was probably the most unfriendly and unwelcoming.
Good location for train station and the Caserta Royal Palace. I arrived before check-in and the hotel was locked, but on pressing the bell someone came and I was able to leave my suitcase at the hotel while I visited the Caserta Royal Palace. I had to ask at reception for the wifi password. Staff didn't speak English, but this wasn't a problem. The single room was clean and fine for the price. I slept well and there was no problem with noise.
I loved my stay here while visiting Caserta and the palace! The hosts were so nice and the breakfast was awesome. No complaints from me.
Good location, parking for the night was 8 Eur at the hotelroom size and breakfast was good
No one speaks english at the hotel, the staff where screaming at eachother 99% of the time we were there. Although we appreciate and tried to use our limited Italian, the staff seemed to be intentionally speaking at extremly fast pace in Italian when addressing us. This did not impacted our stay, but all in all felt that we were the only ones doing an extra length to understand each other (For clarification purposes, we were not expecting full english speaker staff, this is Italy!)
Beautiful rooms in the old but very nicely renovated building. The owners were helpful and flexible with our requests.Location is very good to explore the castle, city or to go to nearby outlet village by bus.Good restaurants and cafes are nearby.
I liked the fact that the furnishings were of a vintage period, in wood. I liked the colours used, extra blanket was real wool, nice and warm, all this was a pleasantly different experience from most other hotels which are very impersonal, synthetic and cold
I was surprised that my room was not cleaned, I only stayed two night, so I thought maybe there had been a mistake and did not make a fuss, but if the room had not been cleaned the second day I would have inquired
Location to the Reggio was perfect as we could only do a fleeting visit to it unfortunately. Car parking was tight' but that did not matter as it was safe as we were heading to Puglia with a full car.
Host is extremely available and comprehensive. Communication is quick and clear, very professional guys.Great location in case you want to visit Reggia di Caserta. Highly recommended.
I like to state in a renovated old spacious house close to city centre.
I did not like a management that was anxious that I not take the hotel keys with me, somehow military sergeant style, and promised to send me receipt of my payment that I have never received. Moreover, parking is like a jigsaw puzzle game and the hotel stays directly to a highly trafficked street. Breakfast is the usual Italian coffee & croissant.
This is a really nice hotel only 3 minutes away from the train station and the center. I got a very pretty room with a street view. I don't think the pictures do justice to this hotel! The breakfast was an italian style and made by the order. I especially want to thank the wonderful staff of the hotel!
Nice breakfast and excellent espresso. Reception was friendly and quickly. Value for money!!!
Location excellent. Just minutes walk from train and royal palaceSmall single room as booked but everything really lovely. Very quiet overlooking small courtyard area with many pot plants. Breakfast. Excellent coffee in bar area and freshly cut fruit for a plant based diet. Much appreciated
Minor but wifi a bit slowAlso minor but could feel springs in mattress
