Cons -
- Very difficult to park with an average car.
- The room was really hot. The AC system is only working for heating and hot ventilation. We had to sleep with open windows in December. The bathroom was full of hair (previous clients), not a good impression and lack of cleaning.

Location. Beautiful. Friendly staff.
The noise level that you can hear from your room. Not sure if it’s the insulation but you can hear a lot of high heeled folks walking in all hours of the night. Also the doors, the first time I closed it, it was loud. So I learned from it and was cautious to close door carefully. But not the case for many guests. So that really kept me awake. And it did bother me especially with jet lag it should have been easy for me to sleep but the noise was startling me. Beautiful view! With sea view selection.
the room was very good and big. the beds were very confortable.expensive parking lot.
No sound insulations. The housekeeping staff starts working at 9am so If your neighbours are not there you will not sleep in past 9am. when we asked for an umbrela at the front desk we were asked to pay 7euros or so. never that happened to me.
Excellent location. The ocean and promenade are directly in front of the hotel. Nice view from the room.
Not really a complaint, because of the traffic noise, we were unable to keep the windows open to take advantage of the fresh air and the sounds of the sea at night.
On entering the hotel there is a feeling of openness and grandeur due to the huge glass windows and beautiful spacious marble lobby. Our deluxe room had a spectacular panoramic view of the entire bay. The buffet breakfast had a very wide variety of food including healthy items and regional baked goods. The staff constantly made sure that the buffet was replenished and always in order.
Good breakfast, beautiful room with tremendous view of the beach
Beautiful seaview from the terrace, comfortable room, enough space. Just on the beach and restaurants and bars nearby.
The check-in was terribly slow, the staff (lady) was not too much friendly. We were asked to write our credit card info down on the paper so anybody could copy it. They could not do a credit card preauthorization through the payment terminal. We refused to write our credit card info down on the paper so they took our mini bar from the room - really weird in a 4 star hotel. The state of a furniture and cleanliness in the room and on the terrace was insufficient. Seagul drops on the window, nobody cleaned this during our stay. The management does not care. They asked me about the review by themselves but nobody reacted. I tried to give them a chance to answer me but it is obvious they profit from the location and they do not care about the rest. A pity.
Location was perfect. Easy to get around in the hotel. Lovely sea views. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful.
The door to our room was very difficult to lock so didn’t feel very secure. The room was also very warm and the cooler just pumped out warm air.

Breakfast is a bit expensive
Great location by the beach, overlooking the sea, friendly staff, luxurious room.

Nice location and nice room

Our stay at Melia María Pita in A Coruña was fantastic! The room was spacious, well-designed, and incredibly comfortable. What truly made it special were the stunning views of the beach and promenade right from my window. Waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out at the coastline was an absolute treat. The location is ideal, with easy access to both the beach and the city’s main attractions. You can take a relaxing walk along the promenade or explore nearby restaurants and shops—all within minutes of the hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring my stay was smooth from start to finish. If you’re visiting A Coruña and want a room with breathtaking views and excellent service, Melia María Pita is a great hotel to stay.
Room was lovely with a sea view.
Breakfast was expensive on top of room rate.Car parking at the hotel was handy but also expensive at 30 euro per day.
Helpful staff and were lovely and communicative, even though we couldn’t speak Spanish or Galician. Large room, clean and welcoming. Able to store luggage easily.
The room and the view were great.
The hotel parking was full so I was given another option for parking. The option was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Not a very good option depending on one's mobility.
Very comfortable mattress and pillows. Great location.
The room had breadcrumbs when checked in. During my breakfast the staff was mopping the floor and used the same mop to wipe the breakfast tables. I have never seen anything like that. The breakfast was horrendous. Better eat outside there are plenty of nice cafes nearby.
