NH Collection A Coruna Finisterre

Location was great! Room was comfortable. Both mornings eggs, sausage, were cold! Ordered fresh omelette from kitchen was hot and good! Lovely variety of cheeses and yogurts fresh fruits, breads, and everything else in a continental style buffet breakfast!

I would say the hotel rooms need some attention the sliding bedroom doors didn’t close neither did the sliding doors into the bathroom. Needs an upgrade overall the rooms are tired looking!

Looks like it might have been 5 stars 30 years ago. Breakfast had many options but poor quality.

Hotel is run down. This is not 5 star worthy by any standard. We booked it based on the pool but both pools were closed and looked like they needed rehab badly.

The property was lovely, the pool was beautiful as was the pool area.

The valet parked our car in their off site parking area, we did not use it, & when we asked for it 3 days later there were scratches on both sides of the car (totaling almost €600). The hotel eventually reimbursed me for the charges but that is because I am an attorney. They tried everything to not pay for the damages. Disappointing customer service at a 5 star hotel, they could have easily comped our stay and I would have left feeling like they cared. Instead it was very stressful so I would not recommend staying there.

from front desk to housekeeping, the staff is professional, warm, kind and helpful. the location is lovely. the breakfast is delicious and offers many choices.

it would be too strong to say i didnt like something. but i would suggest that having a full length mirror in every room would be helpful. and the lunch/dinner menu might offer a few more choices with small portions for light eaters.

Being in the hotel business before I retired, I know it’s customary at many hotels to suggest an upgrade for an additional cost. However, it was presented that the hotel was “empty and low occupancy” did not sit well with me. I prefer hotels who will automatically give a complimentary upgrade if the hotel is “empty” as a customer service. Interesting enough, the next hotel I checked into, did give an upgrade without requesting it and no additional cost. It was just a better introduction to a new hotel I was staying at. Just a personal peeve.

It has a great location. The hotel room was very well designed and comfortable. The staff were very kind. The breakfast was exceptional

The parking fee

Access to the swim/excursive/sauna etc facilities next door was great and something we took advantage of. Some clarification of location would have been helpful. This was far from the ‘beach’ but next to old town, where we wanted to be. The beach is on the opposite side of town, and a very long walk.

We had breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel, and all three meals were excellent, as was the service.

Fantastic room with amazing breakfast. You have access to a very big gym and an olympic swimming pool. Staff was super nice

For the value, I would expect that the room is spotless clean which wasn’t the case. For the checkout we waited 25 min in a queue because there was only one person doing everything (including registering guests in fidelity programs). We lost our bus and nearly missed the train.

Location was very good, near the harbor and down town. We ate in once for dinner in their restaurant and had good food and service breakfast was comprehensive. Concierge was extremely helpful and provided a list of very good restaurants. We were there for 4 nights and used as a base for other towns and destinations. They have a lot of facilities on site, swimming pool, pickle courts etc.

The hotel is a bit tired. It is showing its age and could do with being upgraded

Nice hotel with views of the port area and close walk to old part of town. Nice room and facilities including use of gym/swim facilities next door.

location , views, breakfast buffet quality, restaurant servers most of all....Friendly, thoughtful, cheerful, multilingual, Impeccably professional staff at every level.

a detail noted over several visits: faucets need washers changed to avoid dripping water waste.

We stayed here for two nights after completing the Camino Ingles and were delighted with this hotel’s location, amenities and the value for the price. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The whirlpool tub in the room was perfect for soaking our aching muscles. Complementary glass of champagne in the evening was greatly appreciated. Breakfast buffet was lovely with a lot of options. Also had valet parking for a price much less than local parking lots. The staff were very friendly and spoke English well. Highly recommend this hotel in A Coruña!

The jetted tub shot out gunk and was a little small for a woman with some hips.

The suite room we stayed in had a sea view. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was varied and good. The cafe at the pool should be improved. The location of the hotel is very good.

Staff were lovely, excellent location, great view and the access to the sports club made the stay unmatched.

In my personal opinion. I feel the interior is a little dated and some elements of the room reflected this.

It was a nice room with a great view. The bed was comfortable. It was clean. It was close the the plaza and shopping area.

There was no secure parking. We had to pay 16.50 euros to leave the car in an unsecure place and then the valet would fetch it if you needed it. The pool was not owned by the hotel and extremely crowded with no sunshades. Very uncomfortable. The room really needed a balcony. Smoke from other rooms came into to bathroom. The breakfast was continental style and limited for cooked food. I expected better food for breakfast as it was expensive as was the evening meal.
