- Could be better
- We felt so well taken care of in this hotel. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but we didn't need them, and the room was clean, the staff was kind and the location was excellent.
- Clean great location friendly and helpfull staff
Cons -
- I believe a Hotel should consider access for passengers/turists specifically with disabilities with luggage and the need a ramp to o down and up he floor…very unaccomodating. It had no WiFi very important to communicate and arrange transportation.
- The whole place felt a little edgy…like a little unsafe but not really so. They requested we leave our key at the desk every time we left “since they had 24-hour reception,” but this just kind of defeats having security for one’s things. Parking was also a little scary…the garage across the street (not run by the hotel) has locking doors underground and we couldn’t get out.

Clean great location friendly and helpfull staff
Nice, clean, big room. Everybody at the reception was always kind and friendly. A lot of cheap possibilities nearby to grab a breakfast. A few steps from the beach. We booked a room with the sea view and we got it.
The Almirante is a very nice hotel. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Everything in the hotel is very clean and bright. It is a stones throw to the beach, many nice restaurants/cafes and bus lines. It’s a tremendous value!
It was less expensive than a lot in the very large city of A Coruña. The desk clerk when we arrived had a good grasp of English which was helpful.

Liked the location, staff, cleanliness, beddingOnly dislike was noise at night, people talking and bumping around! Price a little high!
Good location, great staff

Staff was helpful and friendlyIt is old, but quite cleanThe double bed was comfortable
It is a very noisy neighbourhood, expect garbage collectors at midnight and loud pub conversations throughout the whole nightStreet parking is a nightmare in the city, better buy a parking placeFacilities are a bit dated
To be honest, it's not a nice hotel. The room is really very basic: a bed, a bath room and that's it.
No parking, no breakfast, no airco, nothing to do in the hotel, no elevator. Truly a 1 star hotel. If you have more money to spend, you should.
Near the center of the city and nice staff.
The bed was very comfortable.
Location, spacious room, and bathtub. Front desk staff arranged for a taxi at 4:45 am to the A Coruna airport for my early flight to Madrid.
Lighting in room
Great staff. Clean room, bed comfy. Right near football stadium and Riazor beach
Quite away from most things however the staff were brilliant (both day and night staff). We arrived quite late and we found it hard to find somewhere to eat in the end went to Burger King!). We stayed 2 nights at the end of our camino and found the rooms the largest we had used in 10 days. Cannot praise the staff more they booked taxi's and carried bags to our room!
Shame they didn't offer breakfast but a nice place just a few doors down who could not do more for us and gave us a brilliant experience. No lift which as I visited with my daughter who brought a ton. However the bag was taken to our room and the night porter brought it down without being asked so not really a problem. We were used to walking so did not mind that it was a long way from the city. It would have been better if the weather was nicer and we had not been looking for things to do.
A localización é ideal
Zona con bar de marcha, estando no primeiro andar é ruidoso de mais
Lovely spacious room, in a great location!
The hallway smelt of cigarettes and the bedroom smelt damp. The bar below was very noisy.
Good location
Over powering air freshener smell in room.Blinds didn't work.Insufficient bed linen for temperature in February. Lots of external noise around 0300 from refuse collection.
It’s located close to the ocean. Paid parking across the street. Easy to access.
Hard to find. Front desk isn’t clearly staffed. You can’t see the person behind the front desk, so it’s hard to tell they’re there. It’s kind of a weird building either way only 1 floor of rooms. Rooms are kind of dated.
I really liked the location, the lockers, the bed, the towels, wi-fi and the attention from receptionists (very helpful)
I didn't like that I walked into room service and mixed towels with floor flooring when I told a receptionist that I didn't need such a service. Employee entered the room, didn't clean anything, didn't take out the garbage and even mixed floor with body towels. It was very unpleasant and unnecessary.
Everything, the only thing they luck is a better shampoo conditioner and soap
Nice location, restaurants around, buses to the other parts of the cityClean, good beds and nice and friendly staff
