Pros +
- The location was stupendous. The main beach in town was much too loud and crowded for me, but directly across from the hotel is a small secluded beach that I liked much better.Vending machines with coffee and beer in the lobby and a small fridge I kept some wine in.
- Ocean view. The staff and owners are amazing. Helpful, kind and always willing to help. Above and beyond the standard hotel. Had a small minor issue with the shower door, and not only was it repaired quickly (within 45 minutes), they checked multiple times to ensure it was working properly. I strongly recommend this outstanding hotel.
- Near the beach
Cons -
- I realized the radiator in my room was on when I got back from dinner around 11pm. The front desk clerk tried to turn the knob with pliers and then tried to tell me that the radiator was hot because of the ambient temperature and not because it was turned on. He then knocked on people's doors at 11:30pm to ask if their radiators were on! When they said yes, he took that as an assurance that they were hot because of the ambient temperature and not due to a malfunction.10 minutes after leaving me to die in my own sweat, he came to knock on the door and did offer me a different room in a different part of the building where the radiator wasn't on, so it worked out in the end.
- Did not include breakfast or have a breakfast option. The bar downstairs can be a little noisy on weekends, but once window was closed, barely noticed it.
- Staff were confused and unfriendly. I paid way too much for a very mediocre room. Looked like no-one cared.

It was close to the beach
First the older lady at the front desk yelled at us right when we got in. We were trying to ask if we can leave our bags before check In because we landed early. Second there was blood on one of the towels once we got in. Not to mention Al all the dirt and grime we found in the bathroom by the mirror and toilet paper holder. The walls are paper thin so we could hear every single thing, especially being close to the lobby. There was also not shampoo or soap as the dispenser stopped working. Also when we came back only one of our beds was made and the other was just left.
One of the staff, Ruben, went above and beyond. He needs a raise! It’s clean, in a great location, and a great value.
It’s just the location of the hotel except that staffs the hotel management are terrible. There is a old lady her behaviour is a nightmare to me. I wanted to stay a night extra. She charged me double the price what she said earlier the first night she said it will be 75. The next day she changed it and said higher price I had nothing to do except give her the extra money. I had a very bad experience at this hotel not worth of money.
Everything
Noise from the neighbors, a lot! Room with bad smell, old furniture, nowhere to put the phone properly on charging, bathtub doesn't work properly, bad internet. And plus, very unfriendly staff, told me if I am in Spain I should speak Spanish. Not recommend to anyone. My friend from A Coruna eas offended from their reaction. He said sorry, them didn't.
It was near to the sea, which was great. The staff was really helpful and nice. The windows do a great job of blocking out the noise, which was fantastic because it was the night of the Coruña game.
The room was really tiny but had everything we needed. Does not have parking, so we had to pay 9€ to park our car, for one night. We weren't sure if it was possible to have breakfast at the hotel since everything was already packed up when we left (around 9 am).
Welcoming friendly staffSomeone at reception 24/7Excellent location with views of the promenade from my window.Very comfortable room.
Very pleasant sea front hotel overlooking the beach. Room was comfortable,The man on reception was very helpful on our arrival.
The hotel appeared dated and the reception area was full of new mattresses stood in one corner. There were tables laid up but no one seemed to be using them. There was nowhere to sit and have a coffee. I think they need to declutter and make it more welcoming.
The view.. and cleanliness
Mostly staff is friendly
Location was great for us. Staff lovely
Pillows not great
It was cheap (ish)
Absolutely no on-site facilities. 15 Euro per night surprise parking fee. Long way to nearest cafe / bars. Not even a glass to drink from in the bathrooms. There”s ‘stripped back’ hotels, but things can go too far.
Rooms facing the ocean may be good.
Rooms facing the courtyard are depressing. Hotel is ok. But seems to be I need of some updating.
Location
The strong smell of cigarette smoke in my room and corridor. I asked at reception but the guy who was there didn’t even look up to look at me when answering.
Good location, but a bit of a walk to 'old Coruna,Secure car parking (at 15 euros per night) Clean and functional
Limited welcome from reception. no on-site restaurant, not even breakfast available. The restaurant next door, supposedly linked to the hotel, was lacking in ambiance and customers. The undercooked fish had to be sent back and then was served on ice cold plates.
We enjoyed the overall value for money - hotel was cheap, walkable to the new and old town (about 30mins) and clean. Staff were helpful to advise of the free roadside parking and concisely explained the main tourist attractions with a map.
The hair dryer didn’t work. The shower door was falling off the rails. There was only 2/3rds a roll of toilet paper when we arrived. The beds were too small and short for my partner (he’s 6’2). Also there are no power sockets near the beds.
The staff were very helpful. Parking close by
Paying for parking
The view from the bedroom window was amazing We were right on the sea and could walk from hotel to beach in a couple of minutes
There was no air conditioning
After complaining, I Was upgraded to a normal room.
The first room I got smelled of smoke, was dirty, and the bathroom was breaking.
