Although the location of the property was far from the temple the surrounding was pleasant to look at. The garden within the premises was beautifully maintained and was good to look at.

The customer service was on a low side. Check in was not smooth. The kid at the counter had no idea. Then a guy with specs and suite walked in. When the kid asked him (presumably day time manager) what to do he was very rude to the kid. When speaking to him he was also rude and had attitude. He had no customer relations experience. However, when I met the night manager, Avinash in the morning it was all good. He was very pleasant to talk to, and he had answers to all the questions. He had good customer relations skills and he was able to arrange everything within 10 minutes. Indian food at the Bhoj restaurant was good but the Western food was worst I have had in my life. I ordered Fish and Chips which was no way near to the photo in the menu. Chips were passable but the fish was dark and almost burnt. When confronted the manager got it done again. The cook did not bother to do anything but reheat the fish and sent it back to me. Not a good cook.

Foods are very test, rooms service is very good and clean hotel. Wi-fi is good. Little bit far away from the Bodi Gaya

Not much value for the money

We had an excellent stay at the Maha Bodhi Hotel and Resort, and it is likely the best hotel in the Bodh Gaya area.The Staff went out of their way to check that we had transportation to where we were going and to give good and friendly advice about traveling in the town.There was an excellent New Years party, and the hospitality at all times in the restaurant was wonderful!We had a minor issue with the toilet flush, which was fixed immediately. Housekeeping did a lovely job every day to clean the room. Very attentive service.The room was spacious, and we were also very happy with the closet and storage in the room. There was also a safe. We felt safe and secure in the hotel.The hotel is a little bit away from the loud town center--which is a very good thing. It only costs USD$3 to go to town in taxi or tuktuk with multiple passengers. The Management do their utmost to provide a first class experience. We felt welcome at the hotel and found the food and beverages in the hotel to be delicious, clean, nutritious, and with very good variety. We felt peaceful at the hotel, and we also enjoyed use of the swimming pool. The grounds of the hotel are very nice, and the hotel has an excellent presentation. Dignitaries and government leaders stay at this hotel, and it is for good reason. Very professional service and a very hard-working staff.

We could not get WiFi in the restaurant. But the WiFi in the rest of the hotel is ok.

Nothing. Onky food and service at the restaurant was decent-

Everything. Dirty and stained carpets all over the room. Needs complete renovation. Looked very deptessing. Wallmpapers coming off, painting was not properlu done. Carpet is ripped off on the hallway and some may trip and seroiusly injure with that carpet. Rooms were smelly. Not deodarized properly.
