Hotel Bodh Vilas

Excellent. Small boutique hotel with warmth and friendly reception. Clean and very satisfied with it. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back to stay there if I am in Bodhgaya again.

Nothing for the price paid for

They don't respect woman, and whatever they promised, they kept changing their words. Bad service

Little far from city centre, calm and quiet place.

Distance from city centre, middle of the field. Insects outside the room.

The property was neat and clean. The staffs were very helpful specially Lobby Manager Rajesh & Restaurant Manager Kaushal. The services were fantastic and the food was great.

It was quiet and peaceful but at a distance from town and Mahabodhitemple so inconvenient for my purpose of being at temple and not having a car.

Location was problem for me so I switched to a hotel for same price in center of town.

Location wise little far from.city but in a nice and calm place. A good parking space is available. Food was top class and they provide everything which you ask them . Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Bodh Gaya

Everything went well. We were not sure about how the Hotel would be before our arrival, as I booked it solely based on the reviews on the internet. However, after arrival we found the hotel to be superly satisfying and it actually exceeded our expectations. We were 8 members as a family and the receptionist Mr. Rajesh was very flexible in changing the room configuration from what I originally booked from what I finally opted for. Rajesh also helped us in planning the local tour and arranged the vehicles on time. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I definitely recommend Hotel Bodh Vilas to anyone who is visiting Bodh Gaya. This review I'm writing is purely voluntary and there is absolutely no pressure from anyone from the management of the Hotel.

Nothing much

It's 3-4 km off the center (although my booking told me something else before), that makes it very calm and a short walk to an interesting monastry with outstanding status.

Not much sweet varieties for breakfast (pancakes, fruits), probably because not many western tourists stay there

Breakfast was not good nor bad I.e everage. Location is also not comfortable being a fra frome main Bazar. Filling like a lonely place.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bodh Vilas. The suite room was spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. It was well-maintained, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.The staff's behavior was exceptional—they were polite, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly enhanced the experience.The food served at the hotel was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Every meal was fresh and satisfying.Although the hotel is located a bit far from the Maha Bodhi Temple, the peaceful and quiet surroundings made it worth the stay. It’s an ideal place for those who prefer a serene environment away from the hustle and bustle.Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Room full of mosquitoes. Hotel manager called and said that they usually cancel booking.com guests because of non confirmation. Arranged Hotel Star for us to stay the night which was in bad state.

The host was very friendly. He organises everything (tuk tuk etc). The hotel is surrounded by nature. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The food was also delicious. I can recommend this place.

Well maintained, neat and cleaned clothings, spacious, well behaved staff , comfortable stay . Intends to stay again for Bhagwan Buddhas blessings in Bodh Vilas .
