The Tamarind - Boutique Heritage Hotel Anjuna, Goa

It's a quaint little hotel with a good ambience. Location is also good. Indian food was surprisingly very good.

Breakfast buffet was excellent — everything was super fresh and tasty. My only concern was seeing quite a bit of food wastage by some other guests, which felt a bit disappointing.

No complaints as such!! My stay was very smooth!!

The Bakery and Al Carte Menu of the inhouse restaurant Cotingo was very good, the hotel location was very convenient, you can take the local bus or book a cab to nearby attractions like Vagator/Anjuna breach and other eating joints, also walking distance to the Miraculous Cross recommended by the staff which was worth the morning walk.

Though the room was good. There was no view from the window. As it was raining, all we could see was thee roof of the hotel. Also The complimentary breakfast should have included some Ala Carte items as well.

The location is great. The staff was very courteous.

Breakfast is average.

Overcharged for a broken drinking water glass. Rs 150 for a basic glass which my child broke.

Disappointing

We had a pool view room but they did not give it to us for the first day when we asked and fight for it they gave us. We had no choice because he had booked it for 5 days

The staff was very good especially the manager I had one meal which was quite good

Basically it looks like it is not cared for, phone in room didn’t work to call desk or dining room, shower was partially not working etc

Lovely caring and helpful staff throughout plus amazing food and great music suited to mood and time of day (if a little loud at times for my tolerance)

The pool unfortunately has a problem with looking nothing like the picture as I think it’s leaking…they need to clean the hard surface of the actual pool so when they top it up…as they were doing regularly during our stay, the unappealing green colour should lessen

Big spacious family suite rooms. Polite staff and good hospitality. Good cafe and great vibe of the place.

Property is under maintenance.

The entire look of the property is really enticing, the brick effect brings so much of colonial era, it is absolutely stunning. The staff here are just really nice, they feel like family. Mr. Raj and Ms. Shamin are both great they will have a whole list of suggestions at their disposal. Room service is also really nice however you must ask them if you need something specific cause much of the things are on request.

Though everything is here is absolutely beautiful and dreamy it was a bummer that the pool was a little unkept due to the rain. We missed out on the pool experience due the weather and maybe if they could add in a little more options and variations for the breakfast spread provided complimentarily.

Location was good

I had booked a Suite room and hotel provided a luxury room..when I saw the Suite room on 2nd day and raised with reception, I was shifted from room 303 to 301...booking. com needs to refund for the differential price of 1st day

Rooms are really good & give you a luxury feel.

The food is very costly. The food quality is not at all up to the mark & quantity is very less. Not at all value for money.Swimming pool was unoperational. After lots of push they made it fine.

I liked the hotel very asthetic, clean and just as in pictures, the staff was very polite i would like to mention gayatri their staff member who was extremely professional, helpful and took care of every guest. it felt as if they cared and that made the stay memorable.

Nothing to dislike but yes the food prices were on the higher side, i would suggest that the hotel keeps a common tip box as every staff member from the receptionist , to housekeeping , restaurant staff all were amazing and it would be unfair to anyone who misses on the tip.

We booked for a family room The room given to us was full of ants even after we complained to them they didn't give us a change of Room also.The service in the restaurant was also very poor

Door was locked and I hot stuck for 5 hours outside the room until midnight

Aesthetically pleasing property. Staff members were super helpful. In-house cafe has amazing food and location of property is super good.

Wish the swimming pool was clean enough to dive in.

Everything was good and the overall experience was satisfactory.

Booked a cab from the hotel while checkout and the AC of the ertiga car wasn't't working for our 2.3 hr ride during peak afternoon. The driver was polite and the driving was smooth during the trip, The issue was with the AC.
