    Pros +

    • The shower and toilet no very good condition. Low water pressure.
    • Beautiful property! You really feel like you’re surrounded by nature with all the greenery of Anjuna but the rooms are very modern and beautifully done up. The staff is wonderful and looked after every need of ours.
    • Circle was a fantastic place to stay, we loved the location, the feel of the place, and all the details they had considered. It was a perfect relaxing stay. The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing, the location is perfect and quiet away from the busy and cliche party area. The staff couldnt be more helpful and it was a perfect birthday surprise.

    Cons -

    • Nothing really
    • On the last 2 nights night there was a 40th birthday party. Luckily the guest that rented out the other bedrooms was kind enough to have a conversation about this which was appreciated and were more than happy with this, however it did go on a bit later than expected. This was in no way detrimental to our stay though.

It felt like being at home in the countryside. The staff were super friendly, the food was excellent, and the room had this nice chic-rustic feeling.

    Honestly, cannot complain.

A wonderful green space for relaxation. The staff is fantastic—always ready to assist and offer advice. Excellent food and drinks!

The place itself is wonderful, though a bit distant from the beach. It’s worth keeping in mind, and renting a scooter might be a good option if beach access is important to you.

A terrific, value- for- money option in the heart of Anjuna! We adored our stay in this 100 year old Portugese villa, surrounded by lush greenery and plenty of options for rest and relaxation. The rooms are aesthetic and comfortable, the on site bar/ restaurant is a great place to unwind over food and drinks. A special mention must be made of the hospitality, friendliness and professionalism exhibited throughout by the staff. The hotel itself is central, within a half hour of most hotspots in North Goa. Can't wait to be back!

There were quite a few mosquitos to deal with, especially in the patio area right outside our room (but that was understandable given that it was peak monsoon season).

Spacious suite, community spirit, great food at the bar. Staff is really nice. Dedicated workspace and reliable WiFi make it a good spot for remote working.

For 20 GBP less a night we stayed at a 5 star suite in Candolim with pool and breakfast included. Here neither is included, but you have a musty smell in the room, no mosquito protection (e.g., nets) and the roof is made of a thin material that really intensifies the sound of the rain so we woke up multiple times at night. They charged for early check in, even though the hotel was half empty during the monsoon season.

Property is clean and echo friendly. Staff are humble and friendly.

Plunge rooms are quite small and too many mosquitoes

    9GayathriPosted on: 6-4-2024

Property was good, hospitality was great. Food was delicious. The concept of the rooms were really thoughtful. Private pool in the suite is unique, not available in many properties. Promoting Sustainable living is appreciated.

    Nothing remarkable.

Food was great. The property was serene and relaxing. Staff was very helpful.

Getting hot water is a pain

If you want the true experience, how many Goans lived back in the day this is a perfect example. The house is beautifully restored with a touch of modern vibe. I mean the nostalgia waking up here was as if I was at my grandmas place expect; now there is wifi, AC and hot running water that is not boiled on fire lol. The hospitality of the staff was incredible I don't recollect their names but you know who you are. Just a note, I loved waking up to the sound of the birds chirping but if you're like my wife (a light sleeper) that could be annoying.

The place is a bit secluded from the parties and such. You pay quite a bit in taxi fare at night to get back to the room.

    9GeorgePosted on: 4-11-2024

    Lovely large rooms.

A bit hidden. You require transport to get anywhere. Building works across the street.

    6GauravPosted on: 4-7-2024

The place. The outdoors. The tea and coffee powder instead of the dip bags. The boardgames, card games.

We were travelling with two senior citizens. Both fell down fro the chairs in the living room. We had already asked the reception to change the chairs / send two more chair because they seemed unstable. But it took too long for them to do the needful. By then the damage was done. One of the rooms has no bedside tables/ stools.

    Beautiful place.

The property is surrounded by loud water pumps and water heaters. Which makes it impossible to appreciate the garden, particularly in the "private garden" sections that comes with some of the rooms. The first room I stayed in also overlooked some strong light. (We then moved to another room without window)The hotel is technically well positioned but you will have to drive anytime you leave the property. There is nothing around the hotel within walking distance, not even a small shop to buy water. The area is not nice, quite the contrary. The hotel only provides filtered water, and I respect the intention to reduce plastic pollution but I got sick (or maybe was it the food). We had to constantly go out of our way to get bottled water. The restaurant is alright, conveniently positioned next to yet another loud rumbling water heater. The service is very very slow. Expect at least 30 minutes for scrambled eggs and tea when you're the only client in the restaurant. Each meal also comes with a twist. We ordered two pasta and only received one, the waiter then explained that the pesto and the Bolognese were mixed together. What?Circle provides a few contacts for bike/car/drive rental. "Munna" wasn't helpful. The taxi service was more expensive than "Goa Miles". I had a bad experience with the driver service with some surprising fees at the end of the ride: 25 ruppees per extra km within the allocated time, which is more expensive than in Australia.Staff is unhelpful, there is all this "sir" fluff but at the end of the day it's really just a lot of people standing around and none of the obvious (easily fixable) issues of this property being addressed. That was disappointing, particularly granted the ratings and the price point.

Great concept, sustainability at its core. And do expect wild life in your room for the same reason!

The so-called 'restaurant' can be utilised better and marketed for non-residents too , since the limited rooms won't fill it - and outside diners will bring in the required energy to the place - the property is so charming and can easily beat many restaurants'ambience in Goa

Our stay at Circle was absolutely amazing! The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. Our room was in a beautiful old Portuguese villa which retained original features and had double height ceilings, and gorgeous natural features referencing the surroundings (including a tree in the room!). We had mentioned it was our honeymoon, and the staff had decorated our room with fresh flowers throughout (such a thoughtful touch). The property itself is stunning and green, with lots of outdoor space to explore. It has ponds with ducks and fish, two very friendly pet dogs and many hidden seating areas, hammocks etc for you to enjoy the natural surroundings. It was so quiet and peaceful at night - we slept so soundly! They also have a rec area with yoga mats, boardgames and outdoor games. And a lovely selection of natural teas available to help yourself. The staff were incredible. We were wonderfully welcomed by Sanjib behind the reception desk and the manager, who were helpful, friendly and genuinely interested throughout our stay. Sagar at the bar was also lovely, and made delicious cocktails.

Literally nothing - it was perfect!

    9AbhipsitaPosted on: 3-9-2024

    - The look and feel of it (it is restored from more than a hundred year old villa and has an old world charm)- The options and taste of the food and cocktails - The warmth and hospitality - The location

    - Having a spa and pool would’ve been great

Place is nice and clean and secluded. Food was great.

The approach as there is a lot of construction happening in the area and it's a bit dingy to get to at night. No ventilation in the room as there are no windows or air coming in. Lots of mosquitos !
