Kamuela Villa Lagoi Bay Bintan

This villa offers excellent privacy for its guests. The staff provides a very prompt response whenever an issue arises in the room. The accommodations are consistently clean. Furthermore, the rooms are remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. We appreciate the thoughtful attention to detail. The overall experience is one of comfort and efficiency. You will likely find your stay to be very satisfactory. It is a truly commendable choice for a peaceful and well-managed stay.

Spacious villa, very helpful staff and perfect service

The restaurant is very small, not a lot of meal option

The location was well-located within a short walking distance to Plaza Lagoi. And offer a free airport shuttle to the villa from the ferry terminal.

There are a few things that can be improved in terms of hospitality, especially what villas can provide in terms of comfort of stay:1) The toilet bowl flush wasn't working despite the staff coming to rectify it, but it still occurred. 2) The TV channel isn't working, and we're unable to watch satellite channels like HBO, etc.3) Outdoor rainshower area, please do have the ceiling to have an option to close it, whereas creepy crawlers can go through and enter the rainshower area, and we're bathed in the indoor area instead.4) Do also have a mini fridge inside each room rather than having to walk outside our rooms to the kitchen.5) Most importantly, we do consider that 24-hour room service/currency exchange within the villa will be better for the guests.

Aircon no enough cool

Environment is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, cleanliness can be improved. There were alot of ants around and bedsheets/curtains/towels have stains on them.

The Location was nice, a very short stroll down to the beach. The Villa was spacious and clean but the shower area needed a bit more lighting for the nights.The doors to the bathroom area needs to have a lock installed for locking the doors from inside the bedroom. This will help secure the Bedroom better at night.Hotel staff were wonderful. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Not enough shops around the area for afternoon snacks and dinner at night. There are 2 restaurants and a beach bar but all serve almost the same dishes. Tasty and okay if your staying for 2 nights. You would not have much more variety of food if you stayed longer.Prices across most of the shops are a bit more pricey when compared to Batam and Bali.

It was quiet and a great value for money.

The aircon in one of the rooms was not working properly. It even leaked sometimes. The pool has some algae init too, not horrible, but could use a cleaning.

It was very spacious and photogenic. the staff were pretty helpful with our requests.

The furniture was really old, and some things were not functioning properly (there was a cranky sliding door that was stuck) and the tv had bad connection, so we had to get the staff to help. During the last day of our stay, the staff took note of the wrong timing to deliver breakfast and woke us an hour earlier because of that, and that ruined the experience as we were planning to sleep in initially.

Like it being a villa. Location is good.

Furnitures are old. WiFi Network is almost impossible which makes TV also redundant.

Near to other facilities. There was a pool place just opposite. Near to lagoi bay. Also a popular pick up location for many tours.

The private pool for the villa was the only value for the property. Room service was prompt and the staff was outstanding.

The room was generally dirty. There were scuff marks on the bathtub, sink, fridge, walls etc. on our 2nd day we asked the room to be made up and they left the only dirty cup at the pool. They left a green cleaning cloth that was stinking in the bathroom on the sink. The western choice for breakfast was horrible. The local food was ok. There was a charge for my son who didn’t use an extra bed but when I made the reservation it was mentioned that there was 2adults and 1child and NO mention of extra charges!! We were made to pay for the breakfast even if he didn’t want it. There isn’t a children menu. This resort is not child friendly at all. The bathtub tap wasn’t working. We had to use the outdoor shower. The drainage was extremely poor. We used the massage services and it was not worth it at all.

staff were approachable and always there to attend to my needs, it was also quite convenient as we were able to send them a text on whatsapp whenever we had any issues or needed help

while the flooring may be dusty or dirty due to the nature of it being a villa, the bedsheets were unfortunately stained and the appliances were quite dirty too. i did a wipe down using my wet tissues on the switches and the dirt collected was very visible so i was quite disappointed in that aspect. however i did not bring it up to the staffs as we were not that picky, however it does not mean that it should be a norm! cleanliness definitely needs to be improved :(

The private pool was awesome, rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious, well lit and well equipped, outdoor dining area was cozy, staff were very friendly and attended to our every need promptly and in a fuss-free manner, excellent service throughout my 4 nights stay from checkin through checkout. Lots of places to sit around and tables and shelves to put our things.

The pool floor has some sand / sediments around the edges, but it's not really a major issue. The smooth grey floor just outside the rooms / beside the pool decking can be quite slippery when wet.
