The property was super near the center so everything from there is very close by including the castle, which is in Patras, which is one of the major attraction , plus the north and the south side of the port is equally 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel plus there is a very long street just the parallel street of the hotel which gives you delicious food until late at night and it’s a very lively street for nightlifeThe rooms were quiet normal I would say with a view from the room was really good.

The thing which I don’t like about the property is the rooms look quite luxurious in the pictures, but in real life, they are not, though the bed is quite comfortable but as Patras is on seaside and the hotel is nearby the sea so it’s quite humid in the rooms plus the rooms are quite small the bathroom. The shower was not working properly and it was kind of broken plus they give breakfast, which is kind of fine for no non-veg people but for vegetarian people, it’s not nice at all. They keep on repeating the options every day and then you don’t have any other choice other than to eat that or else spend the money outside so if you’re spending extra money for breakfast in the hotel, I would suggest not to as a vegetarian, but my friend who is a non-vegetarian he also didn’t had good breakfast because they always used to give scrambled eggs and sausages in the morning which is not nice always and small pizza bite. I don’t know. Why would you give pizza bite in the morning as breakfast?

The key advantage of this hotel is definitely its location – right in the center of the shopping and restaurant area. Other than that, it’s as basic as it gets.

No parking available, a rather disappointing breakfast, and overall a very simple, almost “hostel-like” vibe.

The location was very good and the staff very nice.

The air conditioner didn’t work well, the room and the bathroom were not very spacious and not very clean. The beds were uncomfortable

Location to centre Patras was great. Never ending coffee shops and restaurants.Good for site seeing trips.Clean room despite age.Breakfast is OK and plenty choice be offered. For the room rate chatged it was adequtae for a short stay.

Hotel pictures if rooms are missleading, these are newer refurbed rooms in the second floor (no balconeys) rooms on floor 3-6 are very old and in dire need of refubishment. Materials, furniture, flooring, decoration is from the 1980's. Mattress was like a slab concrete and not comfy. Outside noise can be intrusive as bars etc open till early hours.

Fantastic location seven minutes walk away from main bus station & on main shopping area. We were warmly welcomed by Fay. Thank you Stergios for giving me hot water at night after i returned from Good Friday service. Breakfast was excellent with good spread. Catholic Church of St Andrew three mins walk away. Sunday mass in english at 0830h

Would have been nice to have a electric kettle in the room.

I stay in Patras regularly for hospital treatment. Unfortunately my regular hotel was full. The Mediterranee is only renovated on the ground floor until the second floor. I was on the sixth floor in a tired looking room. At 20.25 a gang of male teenagers were running up and down the corridor banging on doors including mine. I called reception and they said the knew and someone was coming to stop them. That happened twice. At about 03:00 the fire alarm went off. I raced out of bed and into the corridor....nothing. I called reception and they said it was the kids. It happened again about 40 mins later, again the kids. To have to call to reception to see if there is an actual fire is ridiculous. It happened one more time. I felt unsafe from the teenagers and unsafe in the building. The staff had little control. I tried contacting the hotel to complain but I've heard nothing, so can they be very quiet!!!!

Short distance to the city centre and resaurants. Breakfast was good. Nice and friendly staff.

Old room, not renovated as were other rooms on other floors. But clean enough (depending on you standards). A lot of noise of youth (schoolclasses) during the middel of the night (2 o'clock, 5 o'clock). The first 5 (of 7 nights) terrible nights without a good sleep.

    Passable

A group of young students making a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning! Set fire alarm off at 3am

    6GrimePosted on: 3-21-2025

The staff were brilliant. The location is excellent. I didn't stay for breakfast as I had to leave at 07.00am

The rooms are very dated and could do with renovating.
