The Bold Type Hotel

The staff was absolutely amazing. They were extremely nice and exceeded all standards of expectations. The hotel was super clean and beautiful. Breakfast was fantatic. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely revisit again in the future.

Location was good. We walked everywhere. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had parking right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious.

Lovely renovation and fabulous room.

It doesn’t really have an indoor gathering/bar area for cooler weather. It’s very outdoor oriented.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms and the building were immaculate and very comfortable. The design and interior are fantastic. The garden with a pool and the roof terrace are incredible as well. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and lunch and loved the convenient location close to major attractions. We will surely return. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The shower equipment could be improved.

Excellent hotel and staff. Quality remodel of a classic older building. The expansive private outdoor garden and dining area was impressive, but it rained during our stay so not much access.

Nothing to dislike… maybe location could be a little better if closer to the walking district and sea, but you can’t move a building! Easy downhill walk to those areas.

We loved staying here! The staff treated us like old friends and could not have been more welcoming. Simply the best in hospitality that others can learn from. The check on was smooth, the smiles were abundant and the recommendation for dinner was fantastic. We will come again next time our trip goes to Patras.

Nothing at all

It was a lovely building in a very laid-back, hip-feeling neighbourhood. The back garden restaurant and bar was peaceful, serene and impeccably staffed. The rooms were comfortable and designed with a polished, inventive and playful eye. We were warmly greeted, pampered and our every wish fulfilled frontje moment we arrived to the moment we (wistfully) departed. If we are ever in that neck of the earth again, we would gladly return to The Bold Type.

The best hotel on our trip! A warm welcome, serene atmosphere and the room was clean with a very pleasing modern feel and wonderful shower.Dinner outside was relaxing and the food was excellent. Breakfast (included in the price) was outstanding.

The beautiful building, lovely balcony, comfortable beds and a well stocked extra large bathroom with a rain shower head. Walking distance to shops, castle.

Smoking in all the outdoor areas. There needs to be areas for non smokers to eat without smokers around them.Plus areas for only non smokers.

Reception staff:Excellent! Went beyond expectations! Truely lovely and caring, and that from every staff member.

Restaurant staff exact opposite. We were not served in a timely manner, had to ask how the breakfast menu works... You can order anything-but they don't tell you that. Had to get out of my chair and go to the bar to ask for another coffee, never did anyone ask us if we would like another. Bar drinks unacceptable. Bathroom great but missing hooks for towels and robes and no tissues! Otherwise a great room with a welcome drink!

We can't say enough good things about the hotel, this was our second stay within a month, this is a very special place, like an oasis. Everything about it is exceptional, the staff, the food, the rooms. Every single staff member we encountered from the reception to the restaurant staff and the cleaning crew where very attentive and engaging making all our needs met I would go back in a heartbeat.

We liked every part of our stay. The staff were amazing, engaging in nice conversations and available and helpful in every way.We had lunch dinner and breakfast and the food exceeded my expectations I would even say it was exceptional both in presentation and taste. I would love to go back just for the food, but also the hotel was so attractive that I'd go back anytime.Thank you to each of the staff members who also made the stay even more worth it.
