The Schloß-Hotel Petry is a family business and is now run by the Bell family in the third generation. The generously designed complex of our hotel with 70 rooms consists of three connected houses and our country house, each of which has its own style and individual furnishings. Our house offers you many different options for living: Elegant in the Kohlbecher, modern and exclusive in the Superior, small, cozy and elegant in the Castle or chic and stylish in the country house “Unter den Weinbergen” (located 328 ft behind the main house). With a wide selection of local products and ingredients, we offer the highest quality with attention to detail. Start the day with our rich breakfast buffet. Pros +
- Clean, good breakfast and dinner. Great saunas and sweet family. The views from our hotel room were like a fairy tale.We want to day thanks to the grandma at the Service for helping us out. She was very sweet and we won’t forget her.

- Excellent breakfast with broad variety of products. Pleasant bedroom with comfortable beds. Optimal location, very close to the river and to the train station. There is a covered space available to store bikes overnight.

- The furniture and interior of the the place kind a worn off. Bed was a bit too soft for my taste.

- What annoyed me was that we asked for a disabled room on Booking.com and was assured that we would have one that was suitable. When we arrived at the hotel, they had no message that that was what was required. Thankfully they had another room, but that cost 20 euros more. The hotel blames Booking.com. Booking. com will obviously blame the hotel and I will end up paying for it!!

For generations a family business with a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Nicely refurbished rooms, excellent food. Charming

Nice installations
The owners were not really that nice. It felt like they had a smile because it was part of the job and not because they are happy to receive clients.Everytime we needed help or had a question it felt like we were bothering them with such simple questions like at what times the facilites are open and so on…Our room had a very humid smellc maybe the carpet flooring…

Some staff (reception and head waiter in restaurant) were not especially friendly or welcoming. But cleaning staff and waitresses at breakfast were friendly and helpful.For the price, the room was small.
