    Pros +

    • This is a quaint place to stay near Hanover. The surrounding area is beautiful with little towns winding among the valley.
    • Although the hotel is only few miles away from the motorway, it is tucked away in a little, peaceful village. Excellent location either if you are travelling or if wanting to go away. The room was of a reasonable size, but next time would pay extra for something bigger.Nice, well lit bathroom with a spacious shower. However, the restaurant was what made our stay so special. Amazing food, perfectly cooked, served with local beer or wine.High dining but with reasonable prices. Worth going just for a meal!
    • Good parking space( incl EV chargers Tesla small power), good quality of restaurant, nice breakfast, fantastic staff. Outstanding clean.

    Cons -

    • I have nothing bad to say.
    • The room overlooked a roof and was a bit awkwardly arranged (appreciate that this was dictated by the shape of the building, clearly extended at some point). Next time would go for a better room.
    • I don't want to be unkind as I know the staff tried their best, but unfortunately my bed was very squeaky with every small movement. Moreover, the room was completely not sound-proofed; I could hear the neighbour taking a shower , flushing or using the toilet or talking, shutting the door etc. My stay was uncomfortable and I couldn't sleep. Again, the staff was brilliant and I am so grateful for that but the building construction itself was far from ideal.

I like staying in the hotel. It was nice and warm. The staff was so attentive and smiling) Its a little bit further than I expected but the place is so calm and silent. I slept well on the comfortable bed. The breakfast was 8+))

    ok - nice place

The hotel helped us with a taxi. We will recommend them NOT to use tha company. He only wanted cash and gave us a Quitterung" we could not use. Most a the time he talked with his handholded mobile, - we suppose, that it is forbitten in Germany as well as in Denmark

Lovely Hotel, very friendly staff, great selection of food for breakfast, very peaceful area.

Very clean and tidy Hotel, possibly quiet if there is not a wedding, with exceptional good breakfest. The staff is very friendly.

The rooms and the hotel itself could have more straight amd ambitious architekture. The rooms outline was a bit twister and for example the windows unhistoric and made of plastic. So "romantic" is probably something different.

Friendly team, throughout the hotel. Great food in the restaurant and a good breakfast

The room was clean and the staff was nice

The room had a toilet not in the bathroom. The toilet door opened from the bedroom. No fan. No privacy. There was no lift. Very small bedroom. No place to put your bag. The sheets were very worn, balled and scratchy.

Lovely location near the main highway, really quick to get back in the morning onto the A2. Great parking, Fantastic Restaurant!! Very surprised by that..nice people too, really proud staff who helped a lot!

Lovely, charming little place. Very conveniently located when travelling with a dog as there are green spaces located minutes away from the hotel. Our dinner was superb! Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Parking is free. The hotel owners should be proud of their front desk staff, especially the gentleman who checked us in. Very professional, attentive and friendly.

    Nothing!

It is located in a quiet little hamlet a little bit outside Hannover. It was decent value for money. The room was clean, though the decor was a bit dated.

The towels were frayed, indicating a fair amount of use. Depending on your background, the breakfast may be great or mediocre. I can't say I was thrilled with the overwhelming focus on bread for breakfast.

Very nice breakfast, great staff, ability to charge electric car for free, playground for kids next to hotel

    9MariePosted on: 9-29-2022

Clean and spacious room, friendly staff and great breakfast.

Could do with a minibar in the room.

    Really disappointed !

My reservation was confirmed by booking.com and 1h before arriving I received a message saying that they canceled. When I arrived, the hotel was closed. Lucky that there was a wedding on the building nearby (same owner) and they could call and someone came after 30 minutes. Otherwise I would be in trouble, and for that reason it is not serious. I even couldn't charge my EV card, because they switch off the system. They switch on the next day when I check-out, but I could not wait. The communication was really rude and you feel not welcome there. They even wanted to take a scan of your passport (EU citizen) which is not allowed in Germany. I won't be back for sure.

It's quite, hidden in small village. Nice and cosy. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Really friendly staff. Definitely will get back there if about Hannover.

A garden to sit in would have been perfect.
