- The owner/manager was very nice, keen to be helpful (she took the bulb from the reception desk light to give me for my bedside light) and called a restaurant she recommended to book dinner (which turned out to be fantastic) for us 7 minutes walk away. The room was clean enough, otherwise we wouldn't have stayed despite having paid an un-refundable room charge. In all other respects, I felt like it was an episode of The Hotel Inspector with Alex Polizzi, before changes were made. The owners need to look at what is available elsewhere at this price point and compare it to their offering.
Cons -
- The bathroom not enough room to put toiletries on.the shower needed updating. , there wasn't enough bedding provided to stay warm. When I asked for more they brought me an old gruby sleeping bag. The bedding was very old fashioned and well used. You could hear people in the adjacent room The room looked very tired with dirty walls and dust.
- Signage outside unclear. Entrance verandah full of unkempt furniture. Small hallway full of vending machines, sofa, reception desk featuring a small basket containing two sets of keys and an egg. I am not joking. The room while basically clean needed care and attention. Bulb in one of the beside lights didn't work. The clothes' rail had been mounted at an angle. In the bathroom the toilet brush was clean but the holder was rusty, the pipework was ugly and not boxed in, the window frame needed cleaning, a small shelf was not secured on the wall. I did not realise one had to book breakfast in advance and it was not mentioned to us in person. Even the coffee vending machine did not work. When we left, there was no one to hand the keys to or tell we were leaving. A really strange experience overall.

The chat with the daughter of the owner.
For the price we paid (179 euros per day just for the room), everything should have been better.
Loved the random decor and very chilled
