We liked the room, the breakfast, and most staff at Henninger were nice. The food and wine were good.Mineral water is available in the room ( a fridge would have been nice).Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

We didn't like that the shower was blocked with hair. Otherwise, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.Although it was not a big issue for us, it is worth highlighting that parking is not at the door and there is no lift. Hence, the hotel is unlikely to be suitable for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

Big room, plenty of hanging space, wonderful breakfast, lovely terrace, nice staff, quite (our room faced the road but was on the third floor, we hardly heard a thing)

Nothing to dislike, but it would be a problem getting to Kallstadt coming by train. Only suggestion: It would nice to have access to a wine fridge, in case one would like to share another drink ...

Big problem locating check in. This place is a rooms annexe of the Weinhous Heninger Hotel over the road and up a bit. You check in there, but this is not apparent on the app, and there are no signs at the annexe to tell you. Took ages to find the reception.Late night noise from other guests.Nowhere to safely park bikes overnight.

Located in the beautiful town of Kallstadt and associate with the wonderful Weinhaus Henninger, Zum Weissen Ross is a happy alternative if rooms in the main facility are unavailable. All members of the staff, but notably the two women who oversee guest services, were charming, helpful, and knowledgeable. My sister-in-law and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with them. Do note that ample parking is available; however is it behind Weinhaus Henninger. There is a small car park across the street from the hotel with a few spaces and limited to two hours.

Because the hotel is not air conditioned, during hot weather it's necessary to open windows. The noise levels from traffic in rooms at the front of the building can be quite loud making a peaceful night's sleep difficult. Additionally, there are no outlets near the windows, and no extension cords, so it's impossible to position the provided fan to maximize fresh air flow into the room.

The breakfast was extraordinary. Also had fans in the rooms.

Wonderful stay! The staff were particularly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very special too.
