Hotel Neumaier

Great location near the Xanten historical archiological park of roman antiquity. Breakfast we very good. We also had lunch and dinner and the food was very good and delicious.

Room was off stairwell, which was a little scary as a senior citizen.

Recently renovated, well decorated rooms and nice & cozy ??restaurant with good food. Enough parking on the premises.

The welcome was great! Great secure bike storage which was important to us. The restaurant was beautiful and food was great. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked wonderful.

The staff. Uniformly efficient, helpful, efficient and very friendly.

The room was rather spartan - a comfortable chair would have helped.

Great English speaking staff with a 'nothing is a problem' attitude. Power shower was the very best, the room was light, airy and having a lift was a great additional help for us. Free, car parking was easy in a large safe parking area.

Lovely room, comfortable bed, great shower, delicious breakfast with possibly the best granola I’ve ever eaten.

room 17 was more like a suite than just a room

we'd have really liked there to be a kettle and some coffee/tea etc

The reception staff was both very competent and friendly. There was a bicycle storage room. The breakfast was very good. I also liked the fact that there was a restaurant.

My only concern was that the location of the power receptacles was not very convenient. In a connected world recharging of devices is often necessary.

Lovely long-standing family hotel, with storage for our bikes and a pleasant biergarten. We ate in the restaurant which was very good, and breakfast was excellent.There was a leaking pipe in the bathroom, which we told them about and it was fixed within ten minutes.

Everything was fantastic. Great secure bike storage, friendly and efficient staff, delicious breakfast, early check in where possible and luggage storage arrangements before the rooms were ready. Rooms were as advertised and very comfortable/clean. There is an excellent restaurant attached and the BBQ Banquet (which is only on particular nights) was amazing and really good quality food (especially meats) at reasonable prices. There is also a drinks fridge and snacks available which you keep record of yourself and pay at check out. It’s only a short and pleasant walk to the centre of town and attractions.

The rooms could be made a bit darker at night. The duvet was a bit short

Friendly, clean,quiet,good location,great breakfast. Room temperature was nice and there was no light at night from outside. Shower was excellent and there was a hairdryer.

Everything! Room was fabulous, very comfortable with a great shower. Lovely beer garden with excellent wine! Breakfast room was superb, excellent range of very tasty foodstuffs to choose from.

All great bar the garbage truck coming by early in the morning ??‍♀️
