Pros +
- Location is great: It's right at de Banhof and you can just walk to the beach. You can find nice shops right outside the door, and there is a nice coffeeshop right around the corner. Hotel staff is friendly and the building really oozes atmosphere and nostalgia. The room was really clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a boiler in the room, closet space was good, nice shower, TV and a great view.
- Excellent central location - only a few minutes walk to the beach. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied with always a good selection. Bed was comfortable, fridge was useful.
- Very nice clean room. Hotel charmingly renovated, centrally located, exceptional view on town center and island from room. Nice breakfast. Hotel staff very kind and helpful
Cons -
- There was some noise on the street during the night on the weekend, so on weekdays it must be better. The train can be a bit noisy, too.
- We were prepared for lots of stairs, as there are no lifts in this old building. TV was a bit small to watch from the bed and the chairs weren't comfortable enough to sit on for any length of time.
