A very nice place, placed in the outskirts of a small forrest. Close to the motorway. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was very good. Staff was xcelent and the restaurant was good too. Nice traditionally German food. Breakfast even better. Loved the ryebread. And a great selection. We were only there for an overnight stay, but could easily have stayed for a few more days. Pet friendly as well. Can only recommend it. Would love to return again. There is no hot water cooker in the room, but could be given to you on request by staff.... TV has only German channels, which is not a problem for me, but for my wife, as she not speaking German. " minor things, which is in no way bringin the score down. Can only say : Perfect :-)

The temperature in the breakfast room was a bit freezy (early November) and so was the temperature in the bed- and bathroom (so the heating was on)Rooms are a bit basic

Nice hotel, got everything we needed. Lovely to be able to walk around the hotel in the forest with our dog. Very pet friendly staff, good service.Beds and pillows perfect!

Quiet as it's in the countryside, nice to relax and go walking or cycling. Hotel rooms and self catering available.

Not much, on the pricey side compared to UK hotels but that's the cost you have to expect in Europe.

We loved the space of the terrace apartments which was ideal for our dog and family. Excellent breakfast and the restaurant serving delicious local food.

On our first stay we had a first floor terrace apartment and our dog was not keen on stairs, which was not ideal. However on our second stay we had a ground floor terrace apartment which worked perfectly.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Mattress was like sleeping in a hammock which was unbearable. Left in the early hours of the morning because sleeping was impossible. Very tight room.Internet was a disaster. Not recommended for people using for business.

Very nice and friendly staff, beautiful area for nature lovers, very quite. Spa is small but good selection of sauna, steam bath. everything is nice and clean.

Room is small and neat, but not very pretty, bit old fashioned. Kitchen is sort of in the middle of the main building and you can smell the food in the building everywhere. it smells good, but was a little too much for me.

As we arrived in the dark it was a bit concerning for me to drive in the dark down the narrow roads, apart from that the location was beautiful and drive out was much better.

Location and breakfast was ok.

When I made check-in the owner who made me invoice and receive the payment was to busy to show me how to find my room. When I made check-out the owner keep me to wait 10 - 15 minutes till he finish a payment issue with a german client even if he know that I'll only let the key. After he finish with other client, he look at me, I give the key and leave. Wasn't any words between us, even if he know english. For sure I fell that I wasn't welcome in his property and I regretted choosing this property. Now I check the reviews and I observ that tourist from East Europe was less then 5%. What to say, I'm sorry that I disturbed them. I had accommodations this week in Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic booked through Booking and everything was perfect. Next time I will try to pay more attention to the details.

Great staff, perfect location for travelling. Minutes from the autobahn, but located in the woods.I booked this on the way out, and rebooked this hotel on my return as I enjoyed it so much.Good food and great breakfast.

Check in is until 10, which is usually fine - some travellers might find this restrictive. The restaurant closes at 9.Biggest dislike is the booking.com survey form saying "You're doing great, keep going" as it thought I didn't write enough to dislike! Nothing to dislike!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, I rebooked even through a different location would have been better for the route I will take back home.It is minutes from the autobahn, so great as a stop whilst travelling (I was driving from Norway to France), but in the middle of a forest - which had a great route for running or walking.Food was great, and breakfast was outstanding.
