Hotel De La Ville

Reception was very kind and let us check-in early. We had a room at the end of the hallway with side view of the Adriatic Sea. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Extra pillows in the closet. Very quiet room. Location.

Nothing. Meters away from the train station! Perfecto !

When I checked out of the hotel I pre paid for a taxi. The taxi came and took us to the ship and demanded I pay him. So I had to pay the taxi driver. I called the hotel and said I needed a refund of the taxi. The man hung up on me. Not good!

So hotel was pretty rundown and not well-maintained. The person at the reception wasn¿t very welcoming or friendly, a little bit short because we showed up early due to the arrival of our flight. Breakfast was average at best

The hotel was centrally located to everything, the rooms were comfortable, the staff members were friendly, and the restaurant downstairs was fantastic!

Andres and Gabriella were warm and welcoming. I enjoyed the amenities, and the rooms were warm and inviting. And the location was ideal after I returned from my cruise.

They were able to accommodate our request to hold luggage until we could leave for our cruise

Check in time was for 3pm and the rooms were not ready. We had no choice but to wait for over 30 mins. When I asked the front desk she said there was nothing she could do about it. I was pretty disappointed because if we had checked out late, we would have been penalized but there was nothing accountability on their part for providing us check in late.

The one staff member was extremely rude. I honestly thought Basil Faulty had been reincarnated in Italian form and we were on some kind of slap stick reality show. I was waiting for camera crews to pop out and tell us it was all a joke. Unfortunately he really was just that rude and awful. He was especially upset when we didn’t take him up on the offer of 115 euros cash for a transfer to the cruise port, when all of the cars and vans outside were offering the same for 40 euros.

The location was excellent. breakfast was great. and the room was excellent. the staff was very cordial, helpful, and friendly. Especially a lady named Gabriella. she was very helpful.

check-in time should accommodate the international traveler, as it was very tiring waiting 6 hours for your room to be ready. There was nowhere to relax and nap.

The front desk ladies were lovely and very accommodating! I would definitely recommend this hotel for the closeness to the cruise port and wonderful atmosphere!

The rooms were beautiful and very spacious. The location was excellent with beautiful views. Loved the patio.
