The room was nicely furnished as well as the rest of the apartment. Located close to restaurants and the fish market.

I did not like the fact that neither a washing machine or a full breakfast was available. We were told there was a mistake in the listing of a washing machine and they offered to have our clothes done for a fee. There were signs in the apartment that a full breakfast was not available because of COVID restrictions. What they served was in our refrigerator, a package of sliced ham, a package of bread slices, packets of flat cheese and two yogurts. We stayed at previous places through Bookings that offered full breakfasts and there were no restrictions mentioned. The offerings were insulting! This was the most expensive place we stayed at, even Taormina. Would NOT RECOMMEND!

We loved everything about Moresco! It is a very well appointed and perfectly located property for exploring Catania. I have yet to learn that unassuming facades of Sicilys towns may lead you to such gems inside. Giovanni was a super welcoming host with a wealth of knowledge about Catania and Sicily in general. And two, not one, welcome drinks were very much appreciated after our flight and a slightly nerve wrecking first time drive around Catania! I can definitely recommend taking Giovannis advice about the dining options too.

Manage your expectations about the breakfast options as it is still self service due to ongoing Covid restrictions, but you will find a good choice of continental options and a great coffee machine too.

The location was very convenient. The host was very helpful and friendly. The room decoration was quirky and interesting, and had all the facilities we needed.

Giovanni made our stay in Catania so much more pleasant, he is such a nice host and very helpful if you have any kind of questions, don't hesitate to ask him. The Moresco hotel is so charming, spacious, clean and well located, a few steps away from the center. Highly recommanded!

Ordinary on the outside, but wonderful inside. Our room was large and very well furnished and decorated - no expense spared. They also have a shared lounge which is delightful. The shared kitchen is looked after very well - everything looks brand new. We enjoyed having our lunch there when we had the place to ourselves. Only downside was the Covid do it yourself breakfast - hopefully that will change soon. Everywhere was exceptionally clean.Its very convenient for the centre of town, the cathedral being about 5 minutes walk away. Same for the bus station, where you can get the Alibus to the airport. Parking was easy, either for free outside or for more space the car park by the bus station.We had a lovely stay.

Walking distance of sights, nice coffee and croissants in the morning, Alexa from Google was playing Maneskin songs for us.

Great central location, but tranquil. Extravagant fun interior. Wonderful beds, lovely owner.

Breakfast options in bar nearby a bit limited (only sweet stuff, although I liked the brioche with granita :-). Hope the B&B can resume its indoor breakfast service soon (closed due to Covid-19)

The contact with staff was excellent. We had an early flight so we were given a HUGE packed breakfast to take with us. So appreciated. Free Parking was on the street just outside the front door. Easy walk into the historic centre.

The shower drain was blocked- nothing serious. Just annoying!

Its hidden gem behind a very unprepossessing street and front door. We had a very warm greeting and the room was welcoming and comfortable. The decoration and artwork is extraordinary and beautiful. Breakfast was good and its a good central location.

A tricky drive through the centre of town and parking is on the street which is quite narrow.

I liked the setting in an old apartment block from the seventeen hundreds which has been nicely restored, however not over the top, thus keeping the charm of centuries gone by. The place gives a good insight of architecture around the problem statement of immense heat with an inner courtyard acting as a vent, paired with the grandeur of times gone by, especially in the huge arched entrance from the street. The staff was warm and welcoming, representing Sicily from its best. The decor may be a bit over the top, but with the spacious room, excellent Internet connectivity and the perfect coffee, definitively somewhere to go again.
