Breakfast was excellent, prepared by the host. Also, she helped us to find a day trip to mt. Etna. She also assisted in washing some of our travel clothes--kudos to her for that.Breakfast was served in the back yard, in a very nice setting of trees and bushes--it made for a very pleasant time.

The help from the personnel that work there. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Irene was an incredible person, she helped us a lot. This is one of the reasons why I would recomme d the place.

Location is good - you can walk down the road straight to all the shops, restaurants etc. Staff were very nice and friendly and having a car park available is a massive bonus. For the cost and a short stay, I would definitely stay here again.

Aircon q weak, breakfast provided was just pastries , toast, kiwi fruits and oranges. Boiled eggs were offered earlier but had run out. Coffee machine was ok.

My stay at San Max Hotel was exceptional and exceeded all my expectations. If I could, I would rate them 20 stars. All staff members were extremely friendly and helpful while having no issues catering to our needs. I also really appreciated the free water dispenser and complementary tea and coffees next to their reception area. Would definitely visit again at my next stay to Catania.
