    Pros +

    • Its location near the airport and it being on the Med
    • staff was friendly & spoke English. The location near the Airport & on the Med is perfect to reduce issues of being able to get to the airport on time. A restaurant on site is gr8 4 breakfast was included with our stay. Got a gr8 pic of Mt Etna.
    • Location was great. There is a bus stop right in front of hotel. Making it super easy to get to center from hotel.

    Cons -

    • It is a bit run down
    • It was very run down, needs updates. I didn't like the stickers on the glass "ocean view room. I thought I would be able to see the ocean as the picture seems it seem like but not at all.
    • The hotel rooms were horrible, the beds were worse than my college dorm rooms, I actually commented that prison cots were probably better quality, the plane noise was noticible but that's the price you pay for so close to the airport.

the only good thing was the nice bar and restaurant nearby

    very dirty plague

That it’s on a one level good for my older family. The nature is beautiful trees and the beach.

It’s remote and very basic inside. It’s supposed to be near the airport but the place is hard to get in and out of and far away from restaurants and convenience store. The receptionist was not very helpful and didn’t crack a smile when we were having a conversation. One must have a car to stay at this place .

Right on the beach. Staff was very helpful and accommodating

My only complaint was I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and both nights had music blaring from a concert and DJ music until 4:00 am. Got no sleep at all because of this. That was horrible and ridiculous that hotel guests were subjected to that basically all night long. There's no way to sleep or avoid the noise while it was going on.

    6LucaPosted on: 2-17-2025

It was straight on the beach

It is impossible to sleep due to super loud music with DJ until 4:00 AM

    Staff were friendly.

Very noisy. You hear the airplanes taking off and landing as if they are right next to your ear. Also hear all the noise from neighbors through thin walls. Kitchen didn’t seem really equipped, although we didn’t use it. Everything was a bit old. Way too expensive for what it is.

Gunnar(sp) from SirLanka(?) whom I believe was the resort keeper was kind and generous under the circumstances.

I was my error not to see in description that the restaurant was closed for season. Disappointing, not to mention the VERY expensive taxi ride from airport ($35USD) even though the runway on map is across street. The huge complex was vacant and a storm had just passed leaving plenty of tree and beach debris adding to the isolation.

Great spot on the beach. Very friendly staff. The orange juice at breakfast was the best I have ever had!The room was clean and had AC and a fridge. The bus to the city center is very close too and costs only 1 Euro.

They had a massive storm befor we arrived and were busy with clean ups, we arrived soo late and they were still so gracious.

    6RobertaPosted on: 10-24-2024

    Nice location on the beach.

Planes fly directly overhead until two in the morning also the staff refused to help with setting up any kind of taxi. The tax information I gave in the reception no one would answer.

    Disappointing

On the photos there are bungalows located directly on the beach, but in fact our was located somewhere on the territory. And we thought that it will have own beach with umbrellas and sunbeds because it was like this described and there were lots of photos of the beach, but in fact you have to pay extra for that. We have booked a superior room and on the photos it had a separate dining room. But in fact it was just one room with a third bed. Everything was very old, all the furniture. That’s insane for the price we paid. Yes it’s located near the beach, but still it doesn’t mean, that the furniture can be 30 years old. Just after check in we saw that there was no soap and we asked for it, but a worker of that hotel has come firstly to our bungalow and checked if it was really missing and only after that gave it to us. Sorry, but this hotel or whatever it is, is not defined as a hostel but seems like it.

    Very bad

We arrived to the hotel late, even though we went inside by taxi and I was with my family, it was very scary, we couldn't even understand that it was a hotel. I would never want to stay alone, it was scary. The rooms were very old, there was no cleanliness or comfort, the breakfast was very poor, there was almost nothing. The rooms next to the sea in the photo are a lie, you never get a room like that. The window of the room couldn't be opened because it was facing the road. The air conditioner was very noisy. The internet didn't work. It's a place you should never stay.

Well situated just above the beach. Quite basic standard but if you’re just in to live near the city and want to hang on the beach during the day it’s awesome. Nice restaurant and beach bar.

Basic standard for the price. No sea views form apartment. Breakfast is quite simple and typical south European = white bread, marmelade and weak coffee.

    8XinPosted on: 9-2-2024

It is an ideal hotel if you come here to enjoy the beach and sea side. Very close to the beach and airport. Convenient to go to the town by bus but the bus timetable is not really precise. The breakfast is same every day and very limited choices. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The facilities are quite old but clean.

    Just location

There was such a smell on a dead animal all over the village. Plus there was a party so loud

    9laurelPosted on: 5-18-2024

We were here off season and loved this place. It felt like a spring break type town right on a stunning beach. Airport jets flew s incredibly low on their approach to land. Mt Etna was beautiful in the distance. The room was old but large and was well taken care of. It had a full kitchen and fridge with absolutely no kitchen items such as dishes, silverware, cooking pans. Bring everything you need as if going camping if you intend to cook in the room. The windows once looked out to the ocean which was steps away but were blocked out with semi transparent art decals. This place probably rocks  if you’re young at high season.

Spent all time at the beach no time in the room. Could not cook as no cooking items
