- I had a wonderful stay at the Katane Palace Hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with directions or recommendations. The room was spacious, quiet, and extremely clean, with a comfortable bed and classic décor that matched the hotel’s elegant atmosphere. The location is perfect — just a short walk from Via Etnea and the main attractions.Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Catania. I would definitely stay here again!
- Convenient location and good facilities.
- Good value for price, room like in the photos. Nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was okay.
Cons -
- Breakfast a bit lacking
- The beds were a bit hard, could use a topper.
- The only issue I had was the the WIFI connection was weaker in the exterior dining location where I had breakfast in the morning. Otherwise, great overall.

Breakfast a bit lacking
Good value for price, room like in the photos. Nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was okay.
Nice Hotel . Loved the breakfast. Staff was friendly & helpful.
It was a very nice property with lots of unique spaces in the lobby. The outdoor courtyard was beautiful. The rooms could use a bit of a refresh, paint job, but the bathrooms were nice. Good location and the staff were very kind.
The beds were a bit hard, could use a topper.
Friendly staff, spacious rooms and a lovely breakfast
Prior to my arrival, I called the front desk to request a quick service for airport transportation to the hotel. The staff was prompt and ensured the driver picked me up at a favorable time with frequent communication. When I arrived, the staff member, a gentleman, was very friendly and welcoming and provided me with a map of places to go and things to see in the city. He was very personable and accommodating. My roomwas well maintained with complimentary drinks. I really admired the beautiful interior design and the overall aesthetics. It was a great experience! The breakfast offered was also very good as well. I would highly recommend this location to others!

Great location, not right in the centre but still close and on quiet streets. The staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel has both a restaurant and a bar on sight to relax in the evening.
- friendly and helpful staff- private parking garage- spacious and comfortable rooms
- it’s clear that the hotel was luxurious at some point, but it needs some renovations and upgrades. - old tv, no international channels, AC was barely working- breakfast was very poor, hard rock bread buns, trays were rarely refilled after 9am; juice and water served in paper cups (??) and nespresso pods for coffee. Coffee cups poorly washed in between uses. All in all, this feels at most like a 3-star hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at Katane Palace Hotel. Hotel has a vintage vibe and nice inner yard.Good location, close to city center and you can park your car for free at the streets nearby.Room was always clean, bed was comfortable.Friendly and helpful staff. Good WiFi.The breakfast also was good.
Everything was fine.
Everything Location, amazing stuff, breakfast, huge room
The location was good with easy access to the bus stop to get to and from the airport. It was a short walk to the centre of town. The staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfasts had a good selection of food and in the evening there was a bar and restaurant with good food on offer. There were plentiful sitting areas in the communal areas. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
I am not a great fan of Nespresso coffee and would have liked another option for a strong cup of coffee at breakfast. However, that is just my bias and my partner was perfectly happy with the coffee.
The overall look and feel of the hotel sends you to the bourgeois period and it’s very nice to experience. If they would have had a bar there, i am sure more people would stay around during the evenings to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is fantastic to sleep on and the bathrooms were also nice!
COFFEE: For a 4 stars hotel, in Sicily, offering only Nescafe capsules and filter coffee is really outrageous. Even the little coffee spots on the road had better coffee than here. FOOD: okish, but of low standards for a 4 stars hotel. More at level with a 2-3 stars maximum.TERRACE: They have a superb terrace to enjoy, however they don’t have a bar to order anything. That’s a weird choice :)
The room was too hot and I couldn’t open the window because of the mosquitos. I liked the complementary beverages in the fridge. The restaurant was very good for dinner. Breakfast was good too.
Breakfast was terrible. Scrambled eggs over cooked, cold and served on a cold plate. Very few choices of everything. Not 4 Star quality. The entire place needs to be either upgraded or demoted to 2 Star or reduce the price.
Bed very comfy. Staff very helpful.
I cant say there is anything you can change. The area is not the best, but its only a short walk to beautiful historic buildings.
We had a very pleasant experience with the staff, hereunder Santo who welcomed us as helped with our bags etc. The check-in went smoothly. We parked on the street in front of the hotel. Room service every day.
We were quite disappointed with the rooms. They were not soundproof at all, and kept us up all night as we could hear other guests, doors slamming etc. The beds were rock hard and not comfy at all... Cleaning could be better. If you are travelling with work, be aware that you are not guaranteed a good nights sleep.
Breakfast was excellent. The breakfast room overlooks an internal garden which in itself gives you a pleasant start to the day. The staff were all very accommodating. We had peace of mind as we could park the car in their garage. Albeit the garage is quite small, they also have valet service for the car.
The only thing we did not like was that the rooms are not really sound proof. So by 6.30am we were woken up by people leaving their rooms, banging the doors and wheeling their suitcases in the corridor.
Old world charm. Breakfast was good. Staff were lovely - midday checkout was no problem. Our windows were double glazed so we slept really well.
Just a little bit out of the way from the main action but a good way to get your steps up!
Large clean rooms. Mini bar has water and soft drinks for free replenished.
