Albergo Ma.Re

Centrally located with free public parking close by.Communicating with the staff was easy, as my requests were accommodated (dropping off bags before check-in and key drop for a 4:00 AM departure). The room and bathroom are very clean and well-organized for a small space.

The property is clean, comfortable and in the perfect location for enjoying the center of Popoli. The staff was always friendly and attentive. The breakfast included a variety of different and delicious options, with excellent coffee.

There was a noise coming from one of the A/C units

Breakfast was excellent, very large selection of pastries.

The bathroom was very small. A second chair in the room would have been beneficial.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Buffett and café were excellent.

Breakfast was incredible with wide selection of cakes and proper coffee, aside of whatever you would expect on Italian breakfast.

We booked this hotel with a checking hours stated on booking.com till 21:30 and pay at the hotel, but than staff called that the checkin is till 21h and requested payment immediately. Hotel also requested our identity documents to be sent via WhatsApp, which we refused and offered documents details to be sent via booking.com chat. After that we were provided with a code to enter reception where we found room key.We were missing any information where to park our car.Room itself was very cold with temporary, very noisy heater. Shower doors was broken, towels were paper thin.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was wonderful.

The shower head and some other minor bathroom things need a bit of maintenance.

Excellent breakfast, especially the croissants. You have to try them, they are soo good. The location is perfect, right in the center of town, so you can easily walk anywhere.

Friendly staff, clean and great location.

Well located. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Nothing. All good

The room was a good size, staff were pleasant and the room was cleaned very promptly. Breakfast is off the scale with a huge selection of cheese, meats, breads, cake, biscuits, fruit and juices.

There wasn't much parking available on the street outside but we did manage to find a space

Remembered this hotel from my childhood and wanted to stay here. Great location. Next to villa and centre of town. Breakfasts were excellent, with lots of choice. Francesca was very helpful and friendly.

Shower door didn't close properly and shower head didn't stay in holder, so had to hold it whilst showering.

Very nice old hotel. Staff was very kind. Breakfast was exceptional. Bed comfortable. Good location in center of town.

Shower was poor. You had to sit down in tub to use hand held spray. Lighting in hallways was poor. In spite of that I would highly recommend.

Great location, very clean, fantastic breakfast and helpful staff

Lovely breakfast and lovely manager very accommodating, unfortunately the shower is too small.

The shower

Exceptionally nice, wonderfully maintained, walking distance to the town center and train station, everything was terrific and a special mention of the proprietress who could NOT have been warmer nor more sincerely hospitable!

Absolutely nothing!

This hotel is perfectly situated in central Popoli. The breakfast is simply amazing with masses of sweet and savoury options, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Would have been nice if there had been a bar or cafe area within the property for evening use.

Location…lovely room with view of the park. Staff very helpful to direct us to restaurants. Breakfast buffet was amazing!

Good location. Great value. Ok breakfast. Great coffee. Helpful and friendly staff.

Wifi very weak in the room. Kept falling off line. Works good in common areas, just not my room. Disappointing. Street parking was hard to find. Had to walk a couple blocks. Not a big deal.

Location and breakfast were exceptional.

A/C was adequate but not great.

This was our second stay in this hotel in 3 months. Everything excellent, especially value for money. The owner, Francesca, is "formidabile"!

We liked everything!
