It’s a wonderful location, beautiful town during off season.

The room would benefit from a freshener! Just a good dusting and paint! It’s a bit tired

Delightful old French hotel with traditional features. Cosy and welcoming. Comfortable bed in a lovely room at the front of the hotel with a large bathroom and good shower. Excellent breakfast. Helpful and friendly receptionist. Love Saint Valery and this is our fourth visit and third time at Colonne Bronze.

Great location, clean and crisp linen, friendly welcome.

Tired building, room and corridors. Shower head didn’t work. Reception smelt of fried food.

The actual location is fabulous. We don't know the area but hope to revisit. I would definitely recommend Saint Valery Sur Somme as a lovely little French town to visit.

Very poor natural light in the family room (oppressive)Odd family room arrangement and horrible windows and front door gave the room a very odd feelMissing light bulbs in the room (irritating)Lack of attention to detail in the bathroom area (half used toilet roll, aroumd the shower tray seemed gruby) Dangerously hot water in the shower. I could've easily scalded myself.. Enough to have concerns about my daughters getting into the shower in case of burning No hairdryer in the roomNo mirror in the bedroomThin carpetThe water tasted odd Kettle in the wong placeExpensive for the room type

Spacious ground floor room, good breakfast

No staff in attendance at breakfast, so I couldn't request cold water to drink

Good location, nice and cosy accommodation

    Late check in

We had two rooms and both were great, the family room was massive with a fabulous ensuite.

This is a great hotel, liked very much. Real place, not at all chainy. Quirky building, be prepared for steps and puzzling corridors. Might be a little hot in summer? Breakfast was laid out lavishly in dining room, lots of lovely things. Excellent provision. Easy to park, small pay carpark immediately across the road, reasonable cost. Very close to the lovely flat walk by the river front. Five minutes pleasant stroll to the heart of the delightful little town. No English tourists seem to know about this place, it was very French. We plan to return.

We were sad to be staying on a Monday as restaurant closed and it did look a nice menu.

    6AnetaPosted on: 8-16-2023

    Very good location, nice staff

The view from the room was on the roof and the wall, the window in the toilet opens on the corridor where people are passing, the cleaning ladies are not changing towels (only two small towels provided) and cleaning dirty mugs etc. the breakfast does not vary much, additional high payment for the parking

    8PeterPosted on: 7-28-2023

Good breakfast, restaurant (closed Sunday) food good. Discount code provided by hotel for purchasing parking tickets. (free car park is about 30 minutes walk from hotel)

    5JohnPosted on: 7-7-2023

Nice location, we’ll decorated mostly (if unfinished)and good breakfasts . Very clean room

We were the only guests for the 4 nights we stayed. In those circumstances being housed in a small room up steep stairs on the 2nd floor was thoughtless. Restaurant was closed most of the time and the whole place was pretty soulless.

    8RogerPosted on: 5-22-2023

The staff were terrific: particular thanks to Hugo for the ice for my wrist! Very good location near the river estuary.

The shower needs more facilities for older people. Breakfast could have been available until a little later.

Receptionist not very helpful and overcharged us. the other receptionist very nice Breakfast not great

left underwhelmed, wasn’t 3 star accomodation or 3 star breakfast. a disappointing stay.

the hotel wasn’t open on arrival on time specified in a confirmation e mail. hot water in shower room hardly a flow, bulb out in reading light, too noisy from rooms from above. breakfast poor compared to other 3 star hotels stayed at on our trip.
