You can't beat the location of this hotel. It's also beautifully decorated and designed. The rooms are large for European hotel rooms.

Our only complaint is that the cleaning crew did very minimal cleaning while we were out during the day. The shower was never touched (which was a big deal since we are always returning from the beach and rinsing sand off our bodies, so the shower got pretty icky pretty fast), and it seems the floor was never swept or vacuumed (same issue - sand everywhere).

Considering the hotel has only 3 stars, the standard is decent, one of the better 3 star hotels I have stayed in, in terms of looks and quality of facilities. The decor is beautiful, the restaurant is very comfortable, with breakfast being tasty and plentiful.

The problem was the price. For 1 night in 1 room, I paid 4-5 times the standard price. I understand prices can vary due to demand, but such a fluctuation is exuberant and thus represents poor value. When checking in, the front desk agent said "that's a lot" - I can only assume she was referring to the price of my booking. On top of this, I was still charged extra for breakfast, which just rubbed salt into the wound and gave the feeling of being ripped off even more. For the price I paid, I could stay in 4/5 star hotel in a city like London or Paris, not a 3 star hotel in De Panne.

Clean, comfortable environment and very central to everything

There is no parking. Bedrooms are lacking pillows. The beds have a headboard with a ledge, it’s easy to knock your head on it

The Hotel was amazing. It exceeded by far our expectations. The room was very comfortable, spacious and bright with very nice design and attention to details. It has a tiny balcony as well. The location is very good, you can see the sea from the windows and to get to the beach you need about 3 minutes by foot. The hotel is also very easy to find, it's on one of the main streets, literally 1 minute by foot from the tram station. There isn't a restaurant as far as we've seen, but all around there are many many restaurants from which to choose, including a cocktail bar next door.

It seems to be more of a country particularity, but all the restaurants close quite soon, after 22.00 it's extremely difficult to find anything open. In the hotel as well, while there is the possibility to order drinks, that's possible only until 22.00. And as far as I know, it wasn't possible to order room service. But these are very tiny details that really didn't matter in the end.

Very close to the beach. Parking was a little challenging, but manageable. Lots of restaurants around. Prices typical of a touristy location.

The rooms are modern, appear to be newly renovated or as part of an extension build. The breakfast room allowed us to bring our dogs with us, which was very accommodating - roomy tables, lots of space.

It is always good to have a bar to relax in, unfortunately no bar.

Excellent central location. Very convenient for the tram and in turn therefore access to trains. Nice decor in public areas and in room, friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent location and hotel. The beach was within 100 meters from the hotel doors. Friendly staff, clean and tidy with separate children's sleeping area. Lovely decor, quiet and large bed.A warm welcome on arrival.

Would of preferred a kettle in the room, other than just a coffee machine. Would like somewhere to sit and relax for an evening drink in the hotel reception rooms to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Fridge on site but was not very cold.Parking can be very limited on the main roads only. But was free between 6pm-10am- if you can find a space.

Location, cleanliness and the bathroom was lovely

Couldn’t control the climate, couldn’t get the coffee machine to work, no telephone to call for assistance. Went to reception but had already gone for the night.

Great location, booked a family room and we’re given 2 interconnecting double rooms which was great. Excellent communication and friendly staff

The room was new and clean, also a super heating and good coffee machine in the room. Also a good price value for what you get in return. Excellent breakfast!

The room was in the garden, if you want to go from a garden room towards the breakfast you'll need to walk outdoor. The central toilet area near the elevator was very cold.

Renovated old hotel. Nice room with balcony and a bit af see view. Compact but very confortable.

The room faces the mainstreet where you can have some noice from the passing tram and tourists. With the window closed it is no bother at all.

Breakfast seemed expensive for what it was

I used to go to this hotel every summer when I was younger. I love how they kept a feel of the past hotel. It is beautifully renovated with amazing rooms in the garden with private terraces. The restaurant looks great and the breakfast was excellent ! It is also very well located in the center of the panne.

Great hotel - close to the town centre and to the beach. The rooms are modern and comfortable with spacious bathrooms. Excellent value outside of high season.

The rooms feel new and recently renovated, which is nice. That said, things (switches, fittings, hooks and furniture) felt a little flimsy and I’m not sure how they’ll hold up to long term use.

the 'old style' look and feel

there a lot of small bumps which make you easy to trip your feet when entering bathroom amd rooms for example 1the floor when you go from stairs to the hall way.

We only stayed here over night during our travel from Prague to London and o am glad I did pick this hotel and this location because it is impressive. Price is lower due to end of season and even town looked little bit empty but I loved it. I could’ve seen see from balcony. Room was excellent! Great, modern, spacious. Comfy bed. Coffee machine. Massive plus is they accept dogs (€15)

I haven’t tried breakfast so I can’t pick even one bad thing about this place. Easy 10/10

Friendly welcome from the guy on reception, nicely designed hotel throughout, great location on the main Street but not noisy. Well appointed room and bathroom..

The pillows were small and very soft, but otherwise nothing negative during my one night stay
