Hotel Montana

Not too far to cycle from Dunkerque ferry port.

Had hoped for more secure cycle storage. All was well, but it seemed rather in the way in reception.

Breakfast was really nice, the hotel is very modern and nice, the staff were helpful. Helped me find a place to leave my bike safely

A warm and friendly welcome. For me a comfortable room and great buffet breakfast (freshly prepared omelette) To me ideally located as a short walk in town or the beach. Has a lift to all floors.and parking. Would go back.

It was an excellent stop-over point on my way from the Netherlands to Eurotunnel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating: they stayed late to let me in, then arranged an early breakfast.They have their own parking place, but I parked on the street outside successfully.

Superb location only 5 minutes walk from the beach. Well appointed bedroom with USB ports, tv and good lighting. My partner commented on the lovely clean fresh smell to the bedding. Nice complimentary toiletries.Breakfast was excellent, especially considering the very reasonable cost of the stay!Buffet style breakfast spread over three tables plus scrambled eggs and bacon for us Brits!

Don't use the private parking which is merely an open carpark with a barrier over the road from the hotel. It's €16 per day including tax and no more secure than parking on the street directly outside the hotel which is in a very quiet residential area.

Location was great and staff was friendly. A good breakfast spread.

The hotel was dirty and the room itself was very dirty, with shower not draining, dirty shower curtains, filthy carpets, and musty smell. Was a very uncomfortable night. Called night staff re: slow draining shower, told to go next door and use that room’s shower but had the same results…slow drain, filthy shower curtain and shower itself.

The hospitailty of the host and the location of the hotel are appreciated. The breakfast it is simply excelent.

The room was very good , the bed comfortamble but small and without bathroom door.

Breakfast was excellent, with good range of foods for all tastes. Omelettes proactively offered and freshly cooked were a delight.Hotel location perfect for central De Panne.Host/Owner and staff very welcoming and friendly.

Our room was rather basic, and the shower door would not close properly. Great care needed to prevent flooding floor.

The water in the bath was not under my control, so I struggled to get it to a comfortable temperature and then maintain it. The smell of the goods in the apartment was a bit old...

So very genuinely friendly and helpful staff! Really good communication with them. Also, the location is great, just a few steps to the beach and to many restaurants, also the beach tram stop was nearby.

Four beds in our twin room, two with Plopsaland duvets, so obviously a family room.

Lovely little hotel, Peter was a very good host and looked after us all. Great location. Continental breakfast was very nice and a good selection. Will be returning soon.

Do you fancy a real hotel, far from the hipster-ish standards? An old but gold kind of thing with wooden walls and a nice terrace outside? Then Montana is for you. We spent there 2 night and then decided to stay for two more, so this explains a lot :) Super close to the beach but not so close to hear the noise of people chatting and strolling. Very good breakfast, a nice family room with all the necessary comfort. Super clean and the owners were very kind. All seems familiar and you feel like home.

Probably some more vegan/vegetarian option at the breakfast (oat or soy milk for example and a bit more fruits) would be nice. A part from this all was great!

Wonderful, relaxed atmosphere, very nice naturally pleasant host, marvellous breakfast with top quality omelette and everything else fresh and excellent. Unquestionably the best, most memorable hotel I have ever booked on booking com.

Nice room and great breakfast. The host makes wonderful omelettes. It is close to the centre and beach. Ideal.

It is not that bad and do not let it discourage you, but: I think the staff could learn a little bit more English, however, we could understand each other. It was a little cold in the room, but once I hopped under the quilts, everything was fine :)
