- The first true 3 star hotel I stayed in while in Italy. Tremendous location, one block from the train station, across the street from the museum.

Cons -
- Internet is terrible, if you need constant WiFi so you can consider twice.
- The location is perfect and is connecting you everywhere in Via Marina. The staff are friendly. The rooms are not so welcome. It's clean until the limits. The worst thing is that they are changing the fee for calling a taxi. Where in the world do they do that?.
- The bed was old style and must be replaced thow the matress was much better. The elevator needs renovation!

This hotel was so nice and clean! The location was great for walking everywhere! The staff were kind and extremely helpful. Especially Ahlam (I hope that is her correct name and I apologize if not). She went above and beyond every day to make sure I felt comfortable and safe as a female solo traveler. I am forever grateful to her for helping me get to the train station after my ferry got cancelled and I only had a few minutes to catch my train to Rome. The staff in charge of cleaning my room did an amazing job! My room was comfortable and very clean. The free breakfast was delicious, including the coffee machine. This hotel was amazing and completely exceeded my expectations.
I arrived before check in time and since the room was ready, the hotel allowed me to check in early without charging. Very good cost benefit, great location near the port, restaurants and stores within a walking distance. Safe neighborhood. The breakfast was good too, fruits, yogurt, Nutella, croissant, coffee machine. The employees were nice and efficient.
Great VALUE for MONEY Hotel in the city center, just next to the amazing National Archeological Museum.Room was good. The Location excellent. Parking in front of the hotel very secure (if you find a place) and free.Bathroom was good and fully equiped.
The bed was old style and must be replaced thow the matress was much better. The elevator needs renovation!
Hotel located at walking distance from the port. All the facilities you expect in a hotel present. Clean. Friendly staff.
The girl at the front desk was kind and helpful - also fluent in English. Thanks, Amlah! Great balcony and view. Bed was large. Nice breakfast. Walk to ferry in 10 minutes, bit of a hike to the train station but do-able.
The carpets are a little old and sticky.
LocationWe felt Very safe during our stay.Accessibility Very clean (excellent job by Marinella & Michela.)Great amenities Breakfast included The staff is very welcoming, very helpful and very resourceful (information about the city).Daniele is a remarkable host, very hospitable, very helpful.Ahlam, Giulio, Giorgio and everyone around did their best to make our stay very enjoyable, and we’re very grateful.
Staff was exceptionally helpful. The location is very convenient.Fridge and AC in the room is a bonus.Room was spacious for a family of 4.
Very outdated, rooms needs at least a kettle for hot water, bathroom could have more than just hand soap and also better ventilation.Breakfast is very basic and limited but does the job.
Das ist die Bewertung meines Sohnes, für den ich das Zimmer gebucht hatte:I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Reggio di Calabria! Ahlam at the reception was incredibly welcoming and friendly, always sharing great tips on the best places to visit in the area. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the service was always warm and attentive. Plus, the location is fantastic—just a short walk from Lido, making it perfect for beach lovers. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the region!
Great location and very friendly and helpful reception girl Ahlam thank you for all your help and advice much appreciated ??
All good
The view of Lungomare from our balcony was beautiful! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room and amenities were very comfortable.
The location was excellent! It was near Lungomare, which is beautiful. We had a great view from our balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful!
The hotel is a beet old but very clean and in a very good location. Very good and kind service, especially from Ahlam in the reception.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Palace Masoanri's in Reggio Calabria. The hotel is well-situated and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing visit. A special mention goes to Alahm, who works at the hotel and was incredibly helpful during our stay. She speaks five languages, which made communication very easy, and she went out of her way to recommend fantastic places to visit in the area. Anytime we had questions, she was happy to assist, and if any small issues came up, she took care of them quickly. Her friendly and professional approach really added to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Reggio Calabria.
Good location near to Port, lungomare, beaches, shopping, bars & museum next door; very helpful staff; nice balcony with viewBasic but great value for money
Bar. There is no bar. Restaurant. Open for miserable breakfast only. Balcony. Yes but no furniture. Hotel for commercial Travellers passing thru only. The final act. The hotel has parking reserved for guests. However our car was towed. 400eu later. Never again. Horrible experience.
Every thing.
I have stayed in several excellent hotels in Italy in the past year or so; but Palace Masoanri really does score first prize with 12 out of 10.They allowed early check-in and late check-out. I was offered a welcome drink. The staff were nothing short of amazing. They were so helpful with my enquiries. I was even upgraded to a 5th floor room with a balcony and views over the sea to Sicily. The hotel is next to the wonderful museum with the Riace bronzes. It is close to the promenade and the Lido train station and just 10 mins walk from the ferry to Messina.Very very highly Recommended !!
