    • Breakfast was great.
    • The desk Giuseppe tried to be very helpful
    • The staff was great. Very welcoming and the service was fabulous. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Reggio Calabria.

    Cons -

    • Smallest shower ever!!! Bathroom was clean but needs attention to poor caulking around shower and floor. The sidewalks around City Center and the route to the train station are in terrible shape. Many people going to train station with luggage and the sidewalks and curbs are a huge hazard. Reggio and all of Italy need to do better. So much garbage in the streets and on the sidewalks.
    • Not close to any restaurants, the restaurant at hotel was closed for summer?, bed mattresses was awfully uncomfortable.
    • Nothing... everything was better than I expected.

Good location. Enjoyed the balcony watching the people go by. Front desk host spoke English and was extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us a map of area and sites to see.

Furniture was old and bed was short.

This hotel is in a perfect location - it is close to everything. It is two streets from the main drag (Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi) with shops, cafes and restaurants, Duomo di Reggio Calabria, Museo Nazionale della Magna Grecia (a must to see the Bronzi of Riace) and many other things. It is close to Lungo Mare, Gelateria Cesare (hands down the best gelato you will ever have) and there is a supermarket 2 minutes walk from the hotel, amongst other things. We arrived in Reggio by train and it is a 4 minute walk from Reggio Calabria Centrale station to the hotel. The staff here went well and truly over and above to make our stay pleasant. In particular Domenico and Manuela made us feel welcome and assisted us with any questions we had, provided recommendations where to go, eat and where to purchase particular items as well as car hire. The staff speak English is well so you will have no problems if you don’t speak Italian. The hotel was clean and comfortable and is good value for money. We hired a car and there is free parking on the street which is a big bonus. We will be returning shortly to Reggio Calabria and we will be staying here.

Nothing. If you’re going to Reggio Calabria, this is a great place to stay.

Shower needs updating and water spilling all over after taking one shower.Toilet paper was loose and need to be properly fixed

Everything! Breakfast was great too, especially the omelette DIY idea?.

Leaving the hotel and leaving Reggio Calabria. Should have stayed there longer!

Near to train station. Large room large bathroom. Very quiet air conditioning and fridge. Manuela in the reception was very nice and helpful

The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. The location was good for reaching places. The staff at reception were all very friendly and very helpful with answering all our questions and they made us feel very welcomed.

The position of the aircon in the room wasn’t directed into the main area as a wardrobe stopped the flow going to where it was needed so it was very hot. We had to leave aircon running pretty much the whole time to cool room down.

Arrived after midnight because of our flight but the hotel had arranged an airport taxi at €25 ( Ryanair wanted €65!).such a relief..staff were still available for check in at 1am.Room has big bed, good bathroom, safe and fridge with free water.Breakfast was good with normal continental content plus meat ,cheese and cooked eggs.3 mins walk to train station.

Very minor....only 1 pillow which was a bit flat.

    Friendly efficient girlComfortable room

No available parking Were senior citizens and there was no one to help with luggage

    9SabinePosted on: 10-2-2023

The room was spacious and comfortable for three people. While the breakfast was limited in options, the quality was good. The hotel's location was excellent, situated not far from the main street.

    9PeterPosted on: 8-26-2023

The reception staff at checkin was great. The room was ok but nothing to rave about. It was a large room so it had that going for it. Only stayed overnight to leave before breakfast.

It was OK. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, the room was very clean and the location was perfect for me. Normally I like to eat out where the locals eat out, to get a sense of feeling for the area, however, it rained in the evening and I decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, guests get a discount, not that, that was the consideration! The food in the hotel was fantastic, with great service, also the breakfast was excellent.

Its not a dislike, but it’s about one and a half miles from the port, but a lovely level walk along a beautiful promenade, I knew this before booking, my consideration was, I sailed into Reggio Calabria, but I was leaving by train and the station was within a few hundred yards of the hotel, and no you couldn’t hear the trains!!

Very friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast and excellent location.

    Not much parking nearby.

    8OwenPosted on: 11-8-2022

friendly staff at reception. clean and comfortable

The food in the restaurant at the hotel was ok. A bit too ‘conceptual’.

    8PatrickPosted on: 9-11-2022

Walking distance to main part of city, room was big, good aircon and wifi.

Could be hard to get parking, just depends on time of day.

    10PaulPosted on: 9-23-2024

Refer to my previous review as we had the same experience - we decided to go back to Reggio Calabria and wanted to stay here based on our previous stay which was fantastic!

    Everything was great!
