Staff is super nice Very clean Food is AMAZING

No wifi (advertised as having wifi).No breakfast (advertised as having breakfast).Could hear everything in the room above.Unresponsive to communication.

Locanda Dal Sor Francesco, Vetralla, is primarily a big restaurant with rooms as a side gig. We pulled into a parking space that may have been a neighbor’s property. There is really no parking near the restaurant. We asked the young man who appeared to work at this business, he replied that our parking spot was”perfect”. He provided us with key to the building and one for our room, without much information about the establishment. We selected this place in advance, to stay, after exploring the Villa Lante in Bagnaia that day. Once in our room we looked for someone to provide an extra luggage rack. A young lady obliged, but seemed to be an employee of the restaurant and not experienced with the rooms.We did not have dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast the next morning was sweet- no savory-but coffee to order.I must say, the restaurant makes its own pasta, as we saw it rolled out and drying on the dining room tables the following morning! That morning we were on our way to return our rental car and head to our hotel in Rome.

We were really looking forward to eating at the restaurant but it was closed on the Sunday we were there. We picked this as a rest stop on the via Francigena, it's in a place called cura di Vetralla more than Vetralla so it's a 20-30 minute detour of the via and another 3-4km beyond Vetralla if you are following the regularly suggested path this might make a long day.

I last stayed here 5 years ago and returned primarily for the food. Unfortunately the restaurant has expanded beyond recognition ( 120 covers now ) and I fear they are victims of their own success. Our dinner experience was very disappointing , but the way that the problem was handled most disappointing of all. Sad. I won't be going back.

We booked and paid for a specific room but when we got there it was apparently not available so they put us in another room. They said it was big and was the same price. It wasn’t what we expected so was disappointing. But to summarize. The room was clean and we were just there for one night as we were hiking the Francigena. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from the actual path. When we arrived it was a bit chaotic at check in because the restaurant was busy and the se people that worked the restaurant handled check In. Also apparently they had computer problems. But we got into our room and it was fine. Lunch service was slow and people who arrived after us seemed to be prioritized and got their food before we did, but no problem. Maybe they were special regulars. But we were literally starving as we’d just completed a 12 mile hike. But when we got the food it was just so delicious. We decided to have dinner here because they are know for their meats. So many wonderful choices Our dinner was absolutely amazing so if you are staying here do not miss having dinner. The chef cooks the steaks to perfection and is incredibly nice. And the nighttime wait staff did an amazing job. Looked like just two people handling the entire restaurant. So whether you’re staying here or not, you need to stop in for a big steak. I’d go back just for that.

This is very much a small hotel attached to a very popular restaurant---which is famous for its selection of fine meats. The hotel was fine---good rooms, proper bathrooms, comfortable bed, and ample (but simple) breakfast.

The hotel was on a rather busy street and all night people seemed to be partying rather close to our window, making it difficult to get any sleep.

The guest house was simple and really pleasant. We travelled as a group of cyclists and the staff helped accommodate our bikes without question and the restaurant was great for a delicious dinner.

Interesting room. Very clean. Lovely staff member let us access the room early to leave our luggage.

No cups or spoons in ‘kitchen’ No way of lighting the stove. Staff totally ignored us at meal time.

Room was basic, but spacious & comfortable. Good location. Breakfast was brought up to our room, nice & fresh food.

This was a fine stay. Great location and the room for the value was great. The Restaurant looked really good and seemed popular. We just were not up for a big dinner but would have liked to try it sometime.

It was a little loud. Breakfast was not good. hardly any selection at all. We didn’t eat in fact and stopped by a fruit shop on the way out.

Everything was top. Top room and tidy bathroom. Good parking places.
