The grounds were very peaceful and the breakfast was outstanding. We had a sink The drained slow and when we mentioned it they wrote it down to be fixed immediately.

The bed could use a topper to keep the 2 mattresses from separating. If you book the spa, and don't want the sauna, be sure to mention it. The room is small and the heat was almost unbearable.

Perfect, quiet location close to the center and the beach. Great breakfast, welcoming staff, and free parking.Thank you! We had a fantastic weekend!

Everything is great

Set on the border of the Koog village, the hotel is an excellent retreat. There is free private parking.The breakfast is superb and served in a beautiful eating room with a view

Great for a few days' stay, perfect location, great views and friendly staff.

It's a very nice and cozy place, especially for nature photographers - you can shoot the birds even from your bed! :) Nice bar with local beers, and friendly and polite staff. A lot of parking space and 2-socket charger for EVs.

The pillows weren't so comfortable.

Only it's good to know the exact view- on garden or on a lake.

Well located. Room was well sized. Amenities on point.

The location was perfect, very center but yet it was the calm and peaceful place we needed for this occasion. We were extremely pleased with the half board options, we were looking forward every evening for the 3 course meal prepared with love.Finally we would like to acknowledge the staff members who were making our experience enjoyable.

Nice view outside (I attached a photo). Clean room. Modern decor (we loved it). Friendly front desk. Fabulous breakfast, loved that home-made yogurt. Highly recommend.

I liked the surrounding area, it’s quiet and close to the city of De Koog. Hotel is renewed inside and rooms are spacious, beds are great. We took a room with a terrace, which was also nice.

There is a possibility to improve breakfast, some refreshments might be applicable.

The food was excellent and the staff made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable with comfortable beds and we were able to charge our car very easily too. This is the second time we have stayed here and we highly recommend.

Staff was very friendly, modern and fancy facilities, excellent food.

The breakfast is very nice and the personnel extremely friendly. They offered a drink while processing the check-in and offered a seal toy to my 3-years old son, which he liked a lot. Very nice.

Everything was great

You guys need to supply a minimum of 2 x pillows - a feather pillow and a synthetic pillow. The one pillow was not up to standard it’s the one single complaint - everything else was exceptional!

Ambience, location, supportive staff.

The breakfast was nice. The room was big and comfortable. I liked that we had an outdoor space. If there was a larger TV screen, then it would've been amazing.

For the most part, I had no issues. One confusion I had was with the beds... They were two beds pushed together to create a full/queen-sized bed, which was not ideal. I would like to see this improved next time.

there was only one thing I didn’t like, the pillows…. they were way to hard for my neck….

Wonderful weekend deal - 1 night stay with halfboard. Food is great! Incredible location and lovely atmosphere.
