Pros +
- Great location on the beach , went last week so i pressume offseson breakfast war fair , small bathroom but most people are going for the beach location
- We are a short drive from historic Ortona and the service and friendliness is impeccable . Delicious woman style pizza for lunch. Excellent food . Excellent service .
- It was late in the season, nice and quiet. Few services close by. Staff was great.
Cons -
- Do need a car or taxi to visit historic Ortona but to stay on beach it’s wonderful .
- Breakfast was a bit of disaster. A tour group came and ate everything .....seriously nothing left. It was the end of the season so staff was lighter than usual. The receptionist/manager was fantastic!
- It was difficult to find. The hotel is to see from the SS16, but hard to access, especially in the summer months when Via Europa (which is the access street to the hotel) is closed in one direction. There is a very difficult and awkward route to get under the train track to the Via, which involves through a parking lot and maneuvering around a very tight corner, under a tunnel and then right onto the Via. If you miss this and go under another tunnel, you end up going in the wrong direction, as the street actually switches direction depending on which point you access it. There is no signage explaining any of this -- so really really hard to know what to do as a driver. I ended up parking up the hill and walking to the hotel (in 30C heat), leaving my husband in the car (he is disabled) and getting someone from the hotel to come back with me and help me find the way in. Once I had done it once, I was OK. But it was quite stressful the first time and took me over an hour to figure things out.

The staff were lovely. We had a lovely view but felt quite isolated. We would have been disappointed if we hadn't had the car.

Loved our sea view room with the balcony. Also, the many spots out on the large outdoor patio. The breakfast and diningroom staff were very efficient and accommodating. The front desk staff was hugely supportive when we needed a bit of extra help. The hotel is capable of accommodating wheelchair needs, which was great.

The locatiion,and food were excellent
A swimming cap in the immaculately clean pool was needed.
Breakfast could be improved. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra but it would be nice if you served say scrambled eggs, and bacon or sauciges
You should make it clear in your advertisement that superior rooms does not necessarily mean that you will end up with an ocean view. When I got there I was very disappointed that my room did not face the ocean. Had I not already paid up front I would have left after one nights stay. It seems unfair that you get paid upfront and I have no recourse if I don't like the room you assign. For me I believe you should be up front about the room view. Other than that I did like everything else about the hotel.
Beautiful beach and hotel property, one of our favorites friendly staff great breakfast , beautiful pool area
Shower is too small
We stopped for an afternoon of rest and overnight on a road trip. The hotel and staff were very nice.
I found it surprising that pool towels had to be rented for 5 Euro a day. As international travelers, we don't travel with our own towels and would not since there is nowhere to wash and dry on a road trip. I would prefer a deposit so that the hotel is covered for theft, but guest can still have service. The whole reason for being in the hotel is to swim and be on the beach.... There was also no info on booking that the pool required bathing caps. This could be useful information. The biggest reason we would not return is that the train runs all night every 30 minutes and it kept my husband awake all night.
Lovely location
We were only there 2 days second day there was a wedding on and we weren’t allowed to be by the pool not good as we paid
The views, the great service, the terrace and the restaurant.
Maybe it was the season but there were no other bars and restaurants open nearby.
Everything wonderful. The beach, staff, food, comfortable rooms with a spectacular view of the ocean . We are lucky as we were here off season so very few people here.
A bit far out of town but worth it for the beautiful beach.
Right on the sandy beachBig pool, very clean

The breakfast was varied to suit everyone. The dinner was superb.Cleanliness excellent.Fantastic swimming pool. Location on the beach. Perfect.
We should have stayed longer than one night! It was not enough to make the most of the wonderful location.
Staff and hotel very good.
Breakfast was a little let down, no hot options and a 1920's toaster. For a four star hotel we expected eggs at least. Breakfast I think was 15E each so to just have continental was a bit of a let down.
The dinner was excellent .... lovely beach
We didn't like the view from our room, the railway line! Kettle in room but no cups!
Stayed at the hotel as a pit stop during our drive up the Adriatic coast. Room was very clean and the view from the balcony was nice. Beach was beautiful... Soft sand and perfect water. Dinner by the pool at the hotel restaurant was marvellous... Staff was very attentive and thoughtful and food was delicious.
Be prepared to pay for beach access (understandable) AND pool access (not sure why this is not included in the room rate).
Very good
Being forced to buy and wear swimming caps in order to use the outdoor pool. Advised it was needed to stop hair clogging pool filters. My wife and I are both aged 76 and have pretty short hair, and this is a first for us. Really didn't like that.
Location near Beach
Room was small and swimming pool out of action. They also booked us 2 singles beds and they had to change, we waited and they offered us voffee while waiting which they charged us 4 at end of trip
good size pool and comfortable room
service in restaurant was appalling waiter forgot us didnt bring wine ages to order and for food to come
