    Pros +

    • It was my second stay at this hotel within 2 years, and for the second time it was a great experience.
    • The staff was so helpful and friendly. You felt like you were in a palace from the 1700's, very quaint. Perfect spot to see the city right from the hotel.
    • The suite with the terrazzo was huge, great bathroom, beautiful view! Breakfast substantial and super helpful staff!

    Cons -

    • The pillows were a bit bulky. Also the sink faucet needs to have the filter changed so it won't spray everywhere.
    • We loved everything!
    • Would like to have outlets closer to bed.

Loved our balcony and general style of the room. Very nice bath. Staff was so welcoming and kind.

Would like to have outlets closer to bed.

Great location; Marco went up and beyond to take care of us, even walking us to the restaurant next door to help us with the menu.

Needs more electrical outlets in the rooms, especially near bed

This hotel is truly grand! Our room had 25-foot ceilings with beautiful views and decor. Very old-world elegance. The bathroom even had a very deep bathtub. The location, on a main square, was perfect as well. Very quiet at night. The front desk staff, especially Veronica, was very helpful and friendly. They spoke very good English.

I stayed here while visiting family in Rieti. The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location. The staff are all nice but Marco is the best. Always cheerful and makes time to chat with you. I sent a message with an enquiry and he replied almost immediately. Will certainly be returning.

The decor had lots of original detailing which was superb. Please do not change this. The room was superb. The air con was not working but the manager gave us a fan and a discount which was excellent

    Nothing really

Excellent location 10 minutes walk from the station and close to attractions and good restaurants. Great staff. Great attentive, friendly staff. Large room with firm bed, safe, good wifi. Breakfast very sweet, typical of Italy, but there are savory options. .

Problem Noise I had to use an earplug. on the corner that appears to be part of the hotel itself, (it has the same name), it is noisy until late and customers at the bar chat with laughter until late. The window even has good soundproofing, but it's not enough. In the hall in front of reception there were people talking until midnight. I believe it's just the weekend, as I slept on Friday and Saturday.

The best hotel and stuff in Rieti!Very welcoming and super nice, the location of the hotel amazing right at the Center and many restaurants and shops around, very helpful and kind!

    All was very good!

Great location! friendly staff at reception, Marco is very helpful.

Breakfast room could have some low volume background music..for a warmer atmosphere, could have a bit more charm.

Fantastic location, kovely room - everything’s in the old side of things and that delivers a truckload of charm. Very good value for money - excellent bed - enjoyed the bath, too.

Downside was that, despite requests, wifi wasn’t working at all. Another minor drawback was the breakfast room / ballroom. A place that could have a lot of charm with a bit of effort, instead it was just dreary. Breakfast was very good, however.

Right in the center of the city and the owner is very helpful. One can feel a very great past of the whole building.

Breakfast could be better, but upon request, one gets fresh panini. Room cleaning service starts working at 7:30 hrs, so that everybody sleeping till.then gets awakened by the noise. So get up early!

The hotel is located in one of the most spectacular places of the city. But what made out stay special is the staff of the hotel. Special thanks to Marco who helped us get the most of our trip to the city.

Nostalgic feeling, an old fashioned hotel, great and mindful staff, clean room and bathroom. Quiet.

All was great. Would have liked a third pillow (I sleep with 3!)

    5JenniferPosted on: 5-31-2024

The staff was lovely and it was in a central location and as clean as a hotel in that condition can be

The whole hotel is run down, there are spots of damage all over the place and our bathroom door frame was rotting. The only available outlet to charge our phones was in the bathroom and the springs in the bed jammed into our bones all night

    10SusanPosted on: 5-28-2024

Location in old city. Helpful, friendly staff. Very beautiful breakfast buffet.

    8ClaudePosted on: 5-9-2024

Location was great - a good stop off in our Via di Francesco. Breakfast includes was good and lots of choice. Marco (at the front desk) was fabulous and healthful and friendly - the hotel should be proud of employees like him.

It was an old building, but well maintained and still had some of the cachet of its former days.

    10WilfredPosted on: 3-15-2024

Buffet style breakfast was really good with lots of varieties to choose from. Yoghourts, cheeses, cold meats, cereals, White and brown bread. Lots of fruits available. Coffee, teas and juices all available. Hotel is centrally located in the town with many restaurants, bistros, coffee bars nearby. We visited five/six during our weekend stay, and we will come again sometime in the future.

The hotel exterior and lobby were beautiful and it was a nice location for an overnight stop on our travels. Very spacious rooms with high ceilings.

Our room had some issues with the bedroom windows and the bathroom plumbing. In their defense, we didn't tell them about the issues until checkout as we were so exhausted from our travels. They likely would have given a different room as we were there off season.
