Pros +
- It was very clean and the location is very convenient.
- Renato and his wife are so friendly. The room was super clean and the bathroom was spacious. Like I read in reviews, the restaurant is wonderful and convenient. I brought my little dog and we enjoyed walking down a pedestrian/bike path right near the hotel. Highly recommend Hotel da Renato. It’s great value at a reasonable price. Also appreciated its close proximity to Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole.
- We stayed in this particular area for the purpose of birdwatching. We knew the hotel was not going to be the top of the range and was on the outskirts of Albinia but having a restaurant in site was very appealing to us. We were very surprised though. Everything about the hotel was excellent. Plenty of hot water, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant where we ate lunch and dinner on both days we were there. AND…..we saw over a thousand flamingos in two different areas plus dozens of other birds we had not seen before.
Cons -
- They don't have elevator and our room was in the 2nd floor (too many stairs.) They don't have breakfast or even coffee to start in the morning.
- No complaints whatsoever!

I had a room with a gorgeous view of the sea and country side. The sunset view :) The ceilings are so high and my room was very large. The staff(owners?) were very welcoming and warm. You must eat at the restaurant downstairs. It really is a hidden gem. I didn't expect to have such high quality food (maybe it is common in Italy though).
It was a good price. The meal in the restaurant was good.
Our bicycles had to be stored in a back yard and not covered. The bathroom was a bit shabby.
Great room with table. Good Pizza restaurant. Good WiFi
No safe place for bike. No city map.
people friendly.
i had no breakfast since i had not asked for it....when i asked for one they said they had nothing, but offered me a free capuccinothe only way to book was through booking. would not accept direct calls like in the past years
Hotel Renato is a good value for money accommodation option in Albinia. The facilities are outdated, though clean and comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant down stairs which has a wide menu for both lunch and dinner. It is right next to the road, easy to access. Staff is very friendly.
The hotel does not offer a breakfast option until May and it was not reported in the website. The rooms which face the road can be noisy (though in the time we went traffic was very low, so all good), but you better ask for a room in the back.
