- The bedroom was big and spacious for a family superior room.
- Very relaxing staff very accommodating
Cons -
- Very dated needs a revamp
- Upon arrival at 2pm we asked where pool was as children were excited to go swimming. We were told no there was no availability for pool for us. Walked to leisure area to see pool + discovered its not attached to hotel as such. We needed to go back down to lift, walk across basement carpark, up 3 flights of stairs and out a door across to pool. We were informed that leisure members take priority and pool was fully booked for aerobics classes and gym members. Don't know when hotel guests were allocated? The bar area only opened at 3pm. Upon entering there we were told we had to prebook a table. No free seating. This is very inconvenient especially with children. We booked a table for 7pm. Staff were under pressure , took over an hour for drinks+ starters to be served. And another hour and a half for main course which was served cold and some parts inedible. We ordered desserts and smallest child found a big piece of cling film in her brownie and icecream. Complained to waiting staff but it was kitchen at fault. Also be careful using shower, control for shower outside the doors which means you keep having to open the door to adjust settings flooding the bathroom floor.
- Could’ve done with more towels other than that was great

Could’ve done with more towels other than that was great
Comfortable rooms Breakfast was good
Pool has a lot of rusty metal parts contaminating the water in particular the fountain pool
Great location, we stayed after our trip to Punchestown races...Very friendly staff .....
Had our meal(which was good) and a few drinks in the bar but it was freezing in the bar area.
The spa was really good and the staff were very nice and friendly The food was really good too
The heating in the room was not working but they did give us little portable heaters
The room was lovely and spacious with a gorgeous bathroom. The food in the bar was nice enough. The cocktails were lovely.
We e-mailed over 2 weeks in advance to book in to use the spa during our stay and were told it was fully booked. This was very disappointing as it was the main reason we has chosen to stay at the Osprey Hotel. We were told instead that we could use the leisure club which would have a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room. This wasn't a relaxing experience at all. The "jacuzzi" was freezing- the water was actually colder than the water in the swimming pool and the jets were shooting out cold water, we were shivering in there. There were also children playing in the "jacuzzi" as it wasn't hot at all as a jacuzzi should be. There were also barely any jets, it was basically just a small, cold pool. The swimming pool itself wasn't too bad. The sauna and steam room were tiny.We had heard such nice things about the Osprey as a lovely place to stay with a nice spa so we were very disappointed. Also, we had booked a double room and when we got there we had a room with twin beds. To be fair, once we brought this to the attention of the reception desk, they did sort this for us, but it would have been nice if it was ready for us upon arrival as we had booked a double room.
The staff were amazing, facilities were great amazing swimming pool food and drinks were great
The bathroom was nice
The room was cramped the bed was uncomfortable it wasn’t very clean the food wasn’t great and was very expensive the breakfast wasn’t great and location was a bit loud
Property was lovely. Staff in spa were excellent, we had a beautiful room . Manager in food/bar area lovely lady very attentive and very helpful.
Heating wasn’t working in room, we were Brought a plug in heater which did heat up room. There were 2 conditioners in the bathroom , bottle of body wash wasn’t working. Staff behind bar very unaware of people at counter looking to be served very slow service when not many people in bar . Service poor in bar area.

Bar menu could have more choice but carvery was nice
Very clean lovely staff and great facilities
The bedroom was cold but we were provided with a heater when we rang reception
We had Dinner and Breakfast in the hotel and the food was fabulous. We also had cocktails which were gorgeous and the barmen were very friendly. We had a twin room which was very spacious with a seperate bath tub and shower.
We had to go through the car park and outside to get to the leisure centre from the hotel. Also there was no shampoo in the showers at the leisure centre so we had to come back to the bedroom to shower.
Very clean room was quite bright early ,although the curtain were good ,
The room was amazing, very spacious, with a beautiful bathroom. The staff was nice and attentive. Breakfat was nice too.
Toilet paper holder in the bathroom was loose.
It suited our needs, staff were friendly and helpful. Georgi (I might have the name wrong) @reception was very helpfu and pleasant, leisure club staff very helpful also.
Bar staff seemed new or unaware of anything asked, had to constantly check with someone else before giving a answer.
