Apukka Resort

we liked everything - staff is really supportive and nice, room is clean,neat and well maintained, the rides and possibilites are also great.

the only caveat - some of the rides/tours they offer could be better explained abdse detailed to the joiners. The first one we did had extreme temperatures and we were outside for about 3h. Of course one expect to have to be on winter gears, but overall feeling I had is that this could be highlighted and the risks and discomfort could be better disclosed.

Over expensive - nice location but super pricey and nor the most amazing value imo

Super pricey for the rooms and facilities they provide. Quite understaffed for peak season. Hospitality aspect was lacking although the location and overall facility was nice.

Amazing igloo! It’s more spacious than we thought (and compared to pictures), great facilities, amazing breakfast and crew! We got very lucky to see the Northern Lights from the room! It was magical!

Activities are eye-wateringly expensive - 200 euro for sauna - that's just ridiculous. We went to a husky farm and paid a 3rd of what Apukka charged for the same activity.

Amazing location! Apukka’s setting is magical and we even saw the aurora during our stay — unforgettable experience!

They charge a lot for the Addis al activities and very few spaces

Everything. It was clean, comfortable, modern, food was good (breakfast and dinner), amazing staff, beautiful location with a lot of activities. And reindeer!

The resort have list of things you can do here ( additional fee, of course )We stayed only 2 nights so we just stay here and enjoying the resort, relaxing.

We have glasses above our bed, just too bad it's not our lucky day...we don't get to see the aurora here There is time limit to use the hot water to shower ( i forget how many minutes ) You must wait for few more hours for it to get hot again. But i dont think it's an issue if there are only 2 persons in the room. In my case, there are 4 of us, we all manage to get hot shower, but i shower with worry that hot water can finish any minutes :p

We loved the location and the resort. I would say that the only uncomfortable thing was the shower which was very little and the 10 minute rule of hot water wasn’t pleasant. Also, that no one helped us with our bags, and the rooms were very hard to find at night. After that, we had a lovely experience with all the activities and the hotel overall.

There are a lot of lights in the Resort specially near reception which causes light pollution and you don't get the expected darkness to see the Northern lights from outside Igloo

Good breakfast. Room is spacious enough and comfortable. Parking is easy.

We had bad experience at check in. We were a group of 15 and arrived the resort at late night. After checked in, the staff rushed through telling us how to get to our room. the entire resort was super dark. there was no concierge to help us. we were asked to use the sledges to carry and push our luggages to our room. the directional signage were not visible enough in dark night. we ended up in wrong direction and managed to get into our room about 1 hour walking in the cold (around -15 degree) and pushing the sledge full of luggages. Given this is not a cheap budget hotel, I think the concierge service can be improved and if they need to charge extra, most guests are willing pay rather than freeze to "death" in the cold and worked like coolies. we are here for a holiday and excited about this amazing resort but the check in experience spoilt our entire stay.

We stayed in Kammi Igloo and it was spacious for a family of 4. The resort was huge with bonfire places, play area for kids, lake, etc. We also appreciate the free winter gear and boots during our stay. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is also a short drive to Santa Claus Village and Rovaniemi airport. It was truly a memorable trip for us.

Resort was in a beautiful landscape. Well organized resort. So many activities. We stayed in aurora cabin and its windows are very suitable to see sky. And the first night we were able to see northern lights, it was great! We also booked husky safari and it was great also.

Our rooms bathroom has a bad smell maybe from pipes. And we booked lakeside sauna and ice lake dipping, it was a disappointment. Sauna was definitely dirty, smells awful, not modern, not clean and the staff which introduced sauna was definitely rude. Other staff we meet at husky safari and reception were polite and friendly.
