- Bathroom was super small. We were nearly the only guests Difficult access to the room with our heavy luggage

Nothing to note.
The historic building
No kettle in room and no bar facilities
Very nice old building in a quiet area. Great pool.
No bar no restaurant no lift.
Clean and comfortable, room was spacious plus delicious breakfast
Room upstairs 2 lights, no lift available
Nice place in a good location , friendly staff, rooms were nice and clean and a good breakfast
When I book hotels in summer, I always look for rooms with Aircon, I’m sorry to say the Aircon was all noise and no go, had an uncomfortable night because of that
A charming historic villa near Orvieto that offers comfortable rooms and a nice pool, well-situated for families.
It felt like a hotel in decline. It needs considerable updating and modernizing. Dingy and dark. For the price, we didn’t expect luxury, but we expected something more refined. It could also benefit from a trattoria or other dining option.
I am in Italy get me a price of 100 a nite not 130The pool made it everything else is boreing and maybe that is what you want quiet and secluded but best if you have a car and they serve only breakfast you must get your own food
Tell th ewoners I want to buy the place and make some changes I AM SERIOUS
breakfast seas great, and interesting ambience, staff very helpful
misquote problem, no shade for pool area at all and to get to the Orvieto Hill top, plan on 15 min car ride- so rent a car. Michelin star restaurant no longer on property, so have to leave to find dinner
easy parking, nice pool. pleasant staff
bathroom very cramped, lightening very poor, impossible to do make up. shower handle came off in my hand. not enough storage or hangers. breakfast buffet wasn’t bad but quite a lot of the food was uncovered so had flies on it and therefore I didn’t eat that much. Bed was very hard.
The property is really lovely and everything was as described on website. Staff were very helpful and the lady on reception very kindly arranged a booking for us to eat in Bar Zelletta across the road shorty after we arrived, even though it was before the afternoon opening time.
The location was a bit farther away from Orvieto old town than we had expected but it was still a lovely drive to admire the scenery and the reception staff were happy to offer advice regarding parking etc. Orvieto is charming and well worth a visit. Also not too overcrowded so you can enjoy walking around visiting the historical sites.
great potential
property needs to be updated in almost every way. A/C was barely functional had to switch rooms as the first one was easily 90 degrees. Mosquito heaven and staff doesn’t keep anything closed so we got absolutely eaten alive. Breakfast was minimal mostly processed packaged foods.
air conditioned great breakfast lovely staffgreat location wonderful swimming pool
perfect great room great service great breakfast great pool
we were here 11 years ago and there was a magnificent restaurant for dinnersunfortunately not now
The hotel and pool area are very beautiful. Lots of charm inside with the old classic Italian decoration. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly.
The beds were not comfortable and the rooms could use some updating.Unfortunately, the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner.
A unique setting with wonderful staff. The pool and breakfast are added bonus! The villa was lovely and the room was spacious.
it’s hard to find anything to not like.
Disappointing Stay
poor ventilation, mosquitoes, grumpy staff, poor lighting, old beds and bedding, old refrigerator, bad location, no pool towels
very friendly staff, the hotel has no lift but the receptionist was very helpful and helped me with my luggage. also he helped me sort out my breakfast since i have dietary restrictions and couldn't have what was in the buffet.
it is quite far to walk to orvieto
